General Information

    • The Black Abyssite Key Item will always shatter after Yilbegan is spawned.

  • Will immediately despawn after all individuals with hate on it are defeated, leave the zone, or if hate is drawn on Yilbegan from a certain distance from its original spawn point.

  • Similar to Dark Ixion, Yilbegan's HP bar will not appear when it is targeted.

    • When using the TP move Chaos Blast, Yilbegan's HP bar will briefly become visible.

  • Has multiple "stances" that determine the level of damage taken (physical and magical). These stances will change periodically throughout the battle.

    • When its wings are down, it will take approximately 25% normal damage.

    • When its wings are down and it is casting a magic spell or using a TP move, it will take 50% normal damage.

    • When its wings are held up, it will take 75% normal damage.

    • When its wings are up and it is casting a magic spell or using a TP move, it will take full damage.

  • Will occasionally form a black, cloud-like aura around it that inflicts a Bio effect to all targets in range.

  • Immune to Bind, Gravity, and Sleep. Susceptible to Stun, Slow, and Paralysis.

  • Grants Title - Yilbegan Hideflayer

  • Will attack players who do not have hate on it if they are too close

Yilbegan's Special Attacks

  • Black Magic - Yilbegan is capable of casting all tier III -ga elemental spells available to a level 75 Black Mage

  • Meteor - AoE Non-elemental magic damage (Circle of effect originates from spell target).

  • Bindga - AoE Bind effect (Circle of effect originates from spell target).

  • Breakga - AoE Petrification effect (Circle of effect originates from spell target).

  • Dispelga - AoE Dispel effect (Circle of effect originates from spell target).

  • Graviga - AoE Gravity effect (Circle of effect originates from spell target).

  • Silencega - AoE Silence effect (Circle of effect originates from spell target).

  • Slowga - AoE Slow effect (Circle of effect originates from spell target).

  • Soul Douse - Frontal cone AoE Darkness damage with an additional Doom effect.

    • Yilbegan will only perform Soul Douse if the player or pet with hate is in front of it.

  • Chaos Blast - AoE Darkness based magic damage with additional Max HP Down, Max MP Down, Max TP Down, and Knockback effects (Circle of effect originates from mob).

    • Yilbegan will only perform Chaos Blast if the player or pet with hate is in front of it.

  • Sinister Wing - Conal AoE physical damage with an additional Knockback effect.

    • Yilbegan will only perform Sinister Wing if the player or pet with hate is standing on its left side.

  • Dexter Wing - Conal AoE physical damage with an additional Knockback effect.

    • Yilbegan will only perform Dexter Wing if the player or pet with hate is standing on its right side.

Historical Information

Yilbegän is a multi-headed man-eating monster in the mythology of Turkic peoples of Siberia, as well as Siberian sub-group of the Tatars. In some myths Yilbegän is described as being a winged dragon or serpent-like creature, while in others he is an ogre-like behemoth who rides a 99-horned ox.
