Description
This amphitheater-like area is comprised of a series of levels leading up to the top, where one can enter the Hall of the Gods. The high walls made of a bone-like material make for a labyrinthine atmosphere, where dangerous beasts can lurk behind the next turn. When the full moon is unclouded, architecture in this area seems to activate, giving off an eerie ambience. Caution is suggested when traversing this dangerous area.

- Divine Might utilizes this zone.
- The full moon at night (0:00-3:00) activates the bridge, fountain, and moon gates. The Moongate Pass is obtainable during this time.

Hello everyone... Just wondering if anyone know's the ToD (Time of Death) for the Shikigami Weapon on the Unicorn Server? Or maybe you know someone who can find out? Or if anyone has any openings in a LinkShell that does NM camping events... I would love to join. Any help and information would be so greatly appreciated! Summoner is the main reason that I play Final Fantasy XI and nothing would make my experience more full and complete than to be able to obtain this body armor!

Solo'd this mission as 75 Pld / War. Not nearly as hard as Missions 6-1 and 6-2. Sneak popped the golems and flashed the one on the right (hoping the other would not aggro, and it didn't). He didn't hit hard, but had a lot of defense. I used an au lait, a carbonara, and 2 yag drinks. Ended the fight with hp and mp to spare. I guess i got lucky, but my cermet was in the same ??? as the fight.

Since I just got my Moonpass last night, there is one bit of information I can add:
After searching on one side and turning up nothing, I decided to wait till next 0:00 time for the other side. During this time, I got a tell from another person looking for a moon pass, and he wanted to team up (since he didn't know exactly where to go).
Anyways, long story short, I found the ??? spot @ B-8 on the lower story. I called over the other two that were with me to go get the ???, since it was still up. After one of the other members got the ???, it despawned. This leads me to believe the moonpass is similar to the Altep quest stone tablet, as in once two people get the item, it then changes location. So if you plan to duo this (to make searching much faster), don't worry, you can both get the moon pass from the same location, granted no one else has clicked it before you.

I found my Moongate pass just last night--we went there to XP, and our linkshell had decided to look for passes afterwards so we would have someone in our group that had a pass. As we were running through, I spotted a ??? on the lower level of (B-8). I lucked out spotting it while we were moving around to find a safe room to party in, asked if I could go get it, and they said sure, why not. Obtained Key Item: Moongate Pass. All within 10 minutes of us entering the zone.
I'm currently gathering as much information as to the locations of the total eight spawn points, and so far I've only gotten:
(A-7) - (reported by GhikQue)
(A-8) - (reported by Kairy)
(B-8) - lower level (I found it! I found it!)
(K-4) - (reported by Dcyn)
(O-9) - lower level (also reported by Dcyn)
If anyone can help contribute, I'll add it here! To be certain, there's only two spawns on the lower level, so we just need the remaining five upper level locations.

I can CONFIRM the (O-9)lower level spot. I just found my "???" there today (5 minutes ago).
I found myself confused by the location of the ??? description people gave so here are EXACT location screenshots of the map and the actual in game spot. Hope this helps.

I'd also like to add a small piece of info. Another person in my LS was searching on the opposite side of Ro'Maeve for their Moonpass as well. I had been there nearly an hour longer than them and I am VERY fast with roaming while searching for something, yet very thorough. I couldn't find it at all. ZERO competition besides LS mate who was on other side. Out of no where - "{Found it!} ???". So I ducked into a room to chat with them for some info and theirs popped in (A-7) on top floor. So I was gonna call it quits as LS was assembling for Shik Weapon anyways. On my way out I figured "wth? might as well try one more run" so I tab around and sure enough there it is in all of its splendor on the bottom floor RIGHT AFTER LS mate had found theirs. This leads me to believe it pops on ONE SIDE ONLY. This could be conjecture, but after 2 hours of tabbing and finding *NOTHING* for 2 hours on one side I'm close to believing it only pops on one side at a time.

I had no clue what moon was, and still dont, and got dragged along with some friends to find it for who knows why (66blm). After about...30minutes I found the second ??? (first one was taken by a PT member). We were on the East part of the map and here are the 2 locations I know of:
(K-4) it was in the room, if u stand in the doorway with ur back to the outside it'll be directly to your left in that corner of the room (i got my own there, and it respawned in the same spot so I told the others it was there again)
(O-9) on the lower level, if u go to the wall on the narrow platform on the far southern half, turn around and hug the right side, the spawn was about 5 ft from where the narrow path widened, it was in the open

This place is rad... the more I get into Zilart and end game areas, the more I start to think playing this game was actually worth it. Very cool area that is north of the great forest of Zi'Tah. Ro'Maeve is a central and key area in regards to end game story and Zilart type stuff. The awesome cutscenes at the end of ZM4 clue you in to this place, Hall of Gods (very cool statue of the angel Altana) and sky, as well as explaining why there is no central Teleport structure in Xarcabard. After visiting Hall of the Gods you will also understand the meaning of "Chains of Promathia"
Ok I've only been here a few times and only gone here usually just for going to sky. Never knew u could get Moon access so easily. But I'm still a bit confused after reading some posts about findind the ??? . Can someone look at the map about and say where the <pos> of the safe rooms are and if they know of any possible spawn points? Also, can you find the ??? only on a full moon and what percentage does it need to be at? How much time do I have before the ??? despawns? Can a person without sky access go to moon (wanna get my friends to help out and go there with me)? If someone clicks on the ??? does it despawn and then spawn somewhere else or does it stay there? Please help me out with these questions.

I went to Ro'Maeve without knowing that the gate only opens during Full Moons, once I get there, I check the clock... 88%... Once the day turns over it's a full moon, so I'm able to get in.
I go in the western side, and a party is XPing right by the gate, so there's no mobs, I pop Sneak and Invis and start checking it out, I do a runthrough of the rooms maybe 3 times, and boom, there it is, the far western area, in one of the rooms with a magic pot on the bottom level.
Because of the XP party I had a completely safe spot to recast Sneak/Invis, so I only had to burn maybe 2 Powders/Oil. Found it the in-game day after the full moon, around 11:00.

Got my Moongate pass today. Went through the western gate first and started running around looking for that ???. Spent the next hour looking and when it was midnight again, I ran for the eastern gate. Went through, turned left and instantly found the ??? in the lower level rooms. As long as I did stay in that same room after getting my pass, the ??? didn't move from that location.

Was the Shikigami Weapon targetable, or u only knew it was there from tracking? And did it roam around, or stay in one area? I'm trying to figure out if i need rng sub just to find it or if i can just run around with silent oils ; ;

Hey, just after the update, we were ******** around in here and found a new NM as it appears.... It's a weapon named Shikigami Weapon. It was invisible or something, We were tracking it and standing on top of it, but couldn't get it. We tried taking off sneak for aggro, we tried magic, we even fought another weapon right there to try and link it, no luck. Anyone have any ideas on this one?
EDIT: We just got him, appears that he links to other weapons, but only at night. Of course we have only killed him once, so IDK if that is the actual way to get him. Fairly tough fight, difficult to stick enfeebling. Was hard until pld equipped earth staff, pretty easy after. Happy hunting ^^

What level range would most of the people with higher-level jobs (I'm only whm42 at highest) suggest the idea of hunting the Weapons near the Zi'Tah zoneline?
Just from an offhand look at their levels, I want to say 54-57 would probably work, but I'd like somewhat more of a professional opinion here. (Heh.)
BTW - just from the way it's set up, I've got a reasonable idea of how to run this, too; PT sits right by zoneline, puller just runs up behind a Weapon, makes noise, comes back to camp with it. Seems like it'd be relatively safe to me and worthwhile, as, during what little poking around here I did, I counted about 4-5 Weapons on one side in the inner ring [the one closest to the zoneline I'm talking about] and then a couple of Cursed Puppets [which I do realize would be instant death for a PT at this level - this is why the PT stays relatively far away from where they are].
This'd mean there's probably 10 Weapons that are readily accessible from that camp, and unless they have some godawful long spawn time (or you pull off Chain #9 in that span of time, which you probably wouldn't), you've got a nice, never-ending supply of EXP.
...anyway - other people's opinions on whether or not it is, in fact, as potentially good of a mid-50s leveling spot as I think it is?

I got my pass on the most recent Full Moon. I was all nervous and worked up about dying, but I was in and out of the place in less than 30 mins. I decided to help some others get their pass and I can confirm that ??? will pop no matter the moonphase. I brought two of my friends along and we searched around. I found it in a lower safe room and my friend closest to me got it. Then I tabbed around again and found it in the exact same place and called my other friend over. Both of them got their moon passes and I learned that the ??? can pop in the same spot consecutively.
How about sharing what position you got it from? West / East Moon Gate, Top / Bottom floor, West / Middle / East room.
Saying - "wow i went and spent 4 hours before i got it" doesn't help anyone as it gives no information whatsoever.

Got my ??? moon Gate pass today Just finished parting decided to check it out so i was already in moon and every empty spaces i recasted sneak so you dont get aggro you dont really need invisible unless you have to go near golems then invisible is a must i think but i found it in abandoned room with a Magic Jug so when i got it i casted warp by the way if you are not a rdm dont cast warp in that room or else youll get slept by the magic jugs they do that spell 70% of the time so you absolutely need fast cast!

I had no powders or oils. Made it up to Hall of the Gods just to see it, and decided I'd give this a whirl. Just happened to be full moon and I snuck myself from the Hall of the Gods zone to the West Gate (had to wait more than 10 min for all the mobs to arrange themselves so i could cast. The Cursed Puppets that are right outside the Hall of the Gods Zone only aggro to magic, so it's safe to stay up near the spring as long as you don't cast or go too far down either set of stairs into the weapons). Got through the gate and was lucky there was a pty on the other side, since I was safe to cast near the mages. Put on sneak/invis, took a right and went downstairs. ??? was at the feet or a Darksteel Golem who just happened to be looking the other way. Dropped invis, got Moonpass, ran into safe room nearby and warped out.
When I got through the West Moongate, the Full Moon was at 98%, so it doesn't have to be 100%. Also, just to answer some questions, this is not a different zone. What people refer to as Moon is simply the part of Ro'Maeve behind the Moongates. Very high lvl mobs back there. I waited a while with the pty trying to figure out a plan, and by the time I went for the ???, it was daylight and no longer full moon, so you can get the ??? without it being 0:00-3:00 or it being Full Moon.
All you seem to need Full Moon and 0:00-3:00 for is to get through the gate. Having someone with a moonpass open the gate for you will work as well.

If you really want to go as a RDM43... then just use Sneak Oils and Prism Powder to get to the Hall of the Gods... in this place... use of magic around mobs will get u killed quick.

Ok, being 59 RDM, I was never here before, but am pretty adventurous and dont mind solo exploring. I can make my own oils and powders, will actually be 40/41 in alchemy sometime this week, currently 37.
So before I step foot in here, I have a few basic questions. What will I expect to see, not counting mob types, I see those listed here, as i zone in? What are the exact directions directly to Hall of Gods? I take it theres a drawbridge that is always uncrossable except during the full moon hours, straight ahead when I enter? Does the full moon phase have to ONLY be 100%, becuase full moon starts at like 95% waxing to 100 to 95% waning also. Can I get to Hall anytime at all, like is there a long route to it, or only during the full moon phase? And after I actually cross the bridge at the correct time, Im free to find the ??? for the pass. Once I have the pass,is that a different zone or just the upper part of this zone then?

Definitely use oils... It took me (55blm) about 4-5 zone-ins to get to where I could cast sneak without aggro. As for the drawbridge: I'm not certain, but you can get up to the entrance without the bridge by turning to the right, and going in a zigzag manner up towards the top
From (H-11) -> (I-9) across to (E-9) go right to (J-8)go up the stairs to (K-7) and then up another flight of stairs to (H-5) Hall Zone.

Hard to find this information anywhere about how to obtain "Moon Pass" that is just simple to understand without reading a novel. Just in case you were wondering why you see in players search comments for xp pts (moon) O or X is that it's another great alternative place to xp at 70+ other than Sky.
Good advice tho is to try obtaining Sky & Moon pass by lvl 70 to broaden your chances of finding an xp party more often.
