High atop the mountainous area of Attohwa Chasm lies Boneyard Gully. The Burning Circle within this area is the entrance point for the battlefield of several Empty Notorious Monster battles.

Although the area itself has no level restriction, several of the BCNM battles have level caps. Once you enter the Burning Circle area, the level cap will be automatically enforced. A key item: Miasma Filter is required to enter the battles in this area.

Click on the above quests link for a listing of BCNMs accessible from this zone.

Was doing my map quest for here and dragged a 75RDM friend of mine to come along. We zoned into here from G-6 on the western side of Attohwa Chasm. Both of us did the quest from the Taru by the Shakrami zone and were surprised to find that checking the Dark Miasma prompted a BCNM fight. "An Antlion in Sheep's Clothing" or somesuch. We entered it for kicks and spite expecting to get nowhere; he buffed, ran ahead first and got hit for 350-something from a Pit Ambush by an antlion mob called Tuchulcha, looks exactly like the other pop-out-of-the-ground-and-scare-you antlions in the Chasm. He ended up going down pretty quickly, it turned on me, hit me for about 170 on average. I couldn't touch the damned thing. Took me down in about eight-ish hits. We both ended up HPing with no EXP loss, the overall trip was fun, tho. I took a couple screenshots, will try and send them in.

Also the area for ENM battle: Sheep in Antilion's Clothing (or something like that.) Uncapped, 15 minutes, find the NM and kill it, since he hides underground. If you find a fake, you need to kill it as fast as possible. I beat it with some people in 14:35 (@_@;), blm x 3, whm, rdm, and pld. It was fun. :D

Theres a new NPC in Attohwa Chasm, Jakka(sp) do his quest and he gives you key item called "Miasma Filter." After getting that key item i went to the gully, i clicked the Miasma, and it let me enter a battlefield "Sheep in Antilions Clothes." I went in and got pit ambush for 738.. 2 more hits and i was done. Can someone please tell me what the hell that BC (or ENM maybe?) was, and what the reward is.

Oh and I lost no EXP after I HPed.

This would be a good place for SE to put Diablos in an upcoming update.
Dark Miasma

Trading a Light Cluster did nothing to get rid of the Dark Miasma in here. I still haven't figure out how to get rid of it, but I'm guessing that later in the CoP storyline something will come up that will tell you how or give you the item that drops it.

There is no map for this area, just like all the BCNM areas. There seem to be no random monsters in here either.

Anyone know the POS to enter from Attohwa Chasm?

I can confirm that the POS to Boneyard Gully is at G-6. If you're doing the quest "One Good Deed", the cutscene upon zoning in the first time is well worth it :)

Really cool cutscene when doing the quest for the attowah chasm map. I think this area is for a later mission or so as it is very small and there is a point wioth dark miasma. i am guessing at some point you have to clear the miasma and would reveal a story or a bcnm.

I wonder if trading a light cluster to the dark miasma would do anything to it? Like the flame spouts in ifrit's cauldron. Anyone wanna try this?

you don't trade anything to the flame spouts in Ifrits to get them to go down....

OT, but may come in handy for you someday. If you trade and Ice cluster to the flame spouts in Ifrits Cauldron they will extinguish for a few seconds. They also go down intermittently on their own, but this saves you the wait, an perhaps a few prism powders.

Im going to take a wild guess and say that this is most likely connect to Attowha Chasam, not more info at the moment about it though it seems, another guess is that because there are many of those undead things, corses or whatever in Attowha im going to say that this may be their base of operations, kinda like how the yagudo have oztroja and etc. The whole boneyard place gives it the automatic effect of having undead enmies, and seeing as its in the Arganou Region, im going to say its pretty dry

sounds like a pirate place ^^
