tried farming these for silk earlier today.
there are four groups each of four caterpillars. each group spawns in a different cirular room (yes, you will need to be silenced to avoid getting cursed as 2 groups are past the afflictor)
these are very good to farm because by the time you have killed the last group, you can head back to where the fits group was, rest up for 1-2minutes then the first group will spawn again (or at least this is how the timings worked out as 58thf).
drop rate was 30/160 not bad for 2hours of farming - with no downtime.

kill the ones under the mute machine then go kill the ones under the curse machine right after. the only way to avoid being cursed by the curse machine is to be muted...

I seen where they are but it's kind of hard to kill them since they are spawn under either the curse or silence machine >=(
