I set out to camp this NM via a long night of farming- grabbed a few stacks of cabbage for Habitrot (not a bad way to kill time between PH spawns), cleared out my inventory, and headed out as a SAM75 /thf. Because I had a full night of farming planned, I killed one round of PHs and Terberry spawned on the next rotation.
He didn't pose any problems to me whatsoever since I engaged before he could summon an avatar. His melee hits were connecting for 60-94 a swing, and his Astral Flow (Titan) did all of 284 damage. 1/1 on the drop, and one unexpectedly short trip to Ugly Pie^^

Does anyone know what the timer is on the lottery spawn?
0/1 so far and it was a very close fight. I solo'ed as 75 smn/whm and I had Garuda fight it near the door while I stood on the other side of the room. I still got hit with its 2 Hr (Ifrit) but stoneskin blocked most of it. Preditor claw did not see to do as much damage as I would have expected.

Was easy fight. Took about 5 mins and I had to summon a new CC after astral flow. 1/1 on drop. Good luck!

i was helping 3 friends for zm4 and saw this nm we pulled him first to the entrance + zone and claimed him we beat first the "light ele" than that nm but the astral flow from him sux lol

Was helping a friend awhile ago look for his coffer here for SAM, and I had seen some people run into this room and kill all the mobs, and then just disappear O_o I figured they were gilsllers or something from stupid names and /anon status but oh well, not there to MPK, so was like k, whatever, go back to looking for the coffer. Open the door to peek into the room and then all of a sudden see "The such and such starts casting something on Regeane." By this point am like WTF O_O; And so this thing and it's elemental came through the door after me and started wailingon me -.- So I lullaby the NM and it had a fecking Light ele out, but I'm running my *** to the zone with red HP and the ele stopped to cast something dumb so I made it >.> Anyway, zoned back in and dragged my 66THF friend who was off at the time doign something else to come back and help kill it.

SAM died 'cause he decided to 2hr for ***** and giggles after I died 'cause of a lovely 900-something dmg Everyone's Grudge right after 2hr =X I think it was Ifrit, but it didn't do too much to anyone with no carol/bar-spell up. Perfectly timed EG, tho-- THF finished killing it, I dragged my boyfriend's charra all the way from Jeuno to R3 myself.
Still haven't reset tonberry hate. Meh >.>
1/1 on the pact, even if it was completely by accident -.- Was going for 600k on Seraph at the time, I think. This was a couple months ago, tho. Memoriesss.

A thf and I camped this for 4 hrs clearing the room, and on the last round we were gonna wait, it popped. 0/1
pops at G-8 on the COFFER map, NOT in the room with DRGaf3 nms. got 25xp as lv 72, was grouped with a 75thf.

doesnt always use fire element, ive seen it using water and loight as well
Just to clear up where it spawns, on second map G-8 (DRG AF3 room), if you have map of Temple, the room won't be on there but it's hidden, Granite Door not hard to target.
This NM can be solo'd by a 75BLM even a bit lower using sleep > nuke > sleep > nuke method. Was camping with my WHM friend and was lucky enough to get a aggro spawn on me (really nice to fight him without an elemental already - if does have elemental might as ell fight that so it won't bother you). Seeing that i'd have to rest in between sleep > nuke there would be other tonberry pops plus Wespes aggro so we had to drag it out of the room, watching out for a tonberry link to a hidden room (H-8 where coffer spawns) to fight safely without links or resting aggro. He hit's pretty hard so straight out meleeing was out of question for us so my friend kept me hasted while resting and goin into nuke and sleep. He did 2 hour with Astral Flow but wasn't so bad with stoneskin up, kept repating - nuke > sleep > rest > aspir > nuke yada yada, beat him and no Light Spirit =( mages get crap for NM drops - TRUE!

How's the drop rate on Light Spirit Pact? I'd like to get my hands on one. (SMN67)
I've made a decent amount of money off this guy. No one ever camps him and I can't figure out why. His placeholder is the Tonberry Harrier. Respawn time is 16 minutes. Always pay attention for the respawn, he's much easier to kill if he doesn't have time to summon an elemental. He will use Astral Flow at some point, but it has never done more than 250 damage to me. Watch out for Throat Stab, keep your Tonberry hate low etc...
My drop rate so far has been 4/~10. That's with TH2.

I've killed Terberry about thirty times now. I've had TH3 lately, and his droprate has been almost 75%. I'd say it'd be at least a 50% chance of a drop without TH.

My luck always suck, and I recently started to camp this fellow for getting a light spirit.
0/3 right now. I assume that with my bad luck, and it having a 50% droprate, I'll end up at 1/6.

Incorrect. Sozu Terberry spawns in a competely different part of the map. There is a "Sozu" NM that does spawn on the same map as the Death From Above room, but still, it's very far away, and it's a Ninja type NM.
You may have been confused as to where you were because the construction of the hallways at the Death From Above door and the Sozu Terberry door are extremely similar.
Sozu Terberry spawns on the coffer map. Since it's difficult to describe the exact position, I'd recommend taking a minute or two to do some research. Googling "Sozu Terberry" should do the trick.
note: It is possible to pull Sozu Terberry to the Death From Above room, but it would be impossible to do so without creating a huge tonberry train. On top of that, it'd be pointless.

So wrong there Selene, you're thinking of Sozu Rogberry the thief knife NM.
I'm quite sure Sozu Rogberry does not spawn on the coffer map. I know for a fact Sozu Terberry spawns on the coffer map, at G8 specifically. This is nowhere near where Death from Above is spawned.
Don't try to shoot me down. I've killed Rogberry 30 times, Terberry 10+ times, and Death from Above about 5 times.

Yea - he does pop on the coffer floor. As a matter of fact; a treasure coffer can pop in the room to the left when you enter it, but he's not a ninja type. From experience - he likes to dump astral flow around 50-60 % hp. I solo him as a smn :)

and he got 32 Experience from it then according to the Experience Chart on FF XI Mysterytour the Mob was level 67 both times. I say this because according to the chart at level 66 + enemies have to be 7 levels below you to give you 32 exp in a solo fight ^^. glad to be of help.

32 experiance to a level 74... two times.
I'm not sure what level that makes it but it was a solo 32 experiance for killing it.

Pops @ G8 on the coffer map inside the room where DRG AF3 is.
Killed the single SMN type placeholder in that room and he popped in about 1.5 hours. Easy fight for RDM/NIN.
