Killed with 4 People not as Hard as People say it is 70RDM/BLM 70BRD/WHM 75WHM/SMN (my wife) 75WAR/NIN (me) 180 Exp AoE Paralyze is the only Major Problem we Ran in to and a Fang Rush >< though I did get Parrying .5 .5 .3 on the 2nd Fang Rush
Ok, some advice to any 67-69 pts down here. Don't get cocky just because your 2hrs are up, and think you can take this guy on, lol ><. We found out the hard way, this guy is super crazy and hundred fists will just scratch his belly. A total wipe, and I had just tasted level 68 by dinging the previous fight before ;;
Even the Tigers and cockitrice were a bit too high level... so don't ask what we were thinking in doing this, lol.

A 65 Thief would probably be useless because the Wyverns are 15-17 lvls higher than him. He'd probably never hit it, and if he did, it'd be for 0 damage.

Im going to try and solo this as 75RDM/37NIN, think it can be done? i need the skins for crafting, skins are 60k each ><.... if i cannot solo could me tanking and a 65 THF duo them?
If I were you, I would bring a mirror image of yourself to fight him. He's quick to hit and quicker to kill. Share the hate, Save the pain.
This ***** begs to get soloed.

The bark's worse then the bite.. in a way.
Was fighting them earlier in a 70-71 party, hit me for about 140 each time. They died just as quickly as the tigers and cockatrice, though (or so it seemed). Usually ended a chain with them, and got upwards of 250 exp or so.
Quite fun to get knocked with slow, silence, and 700 damage in 2 seconds, eh?

To chain 5 you have 1 minute, 10 seconds...must not be very hard if you can kill it under a minute.

We had a chain #4 on Ladon last night, and got 280xp
on LV 72

I took a picture of this guy during summer fest....im not sure how to post the picture tho. Can some1 help me?
Tanked these last night in my PT of 69-70. They hit me on average for about 150 damage and about 600 with special. They use a really strong Poison...Possibly Poison II or Venom.. as your health depletes very quickly. Had to use my 2 hour once due to our WHM getting silenced (and had run out of Echo Drops).
You do not need to be 75 to take these guys. You can successfully chain them in with the Omnivik and Greater Cockatrices for a good 250exp at 69-70.

this dragon is good for average lv74 party
but please watch out for the sp breath
hit 700 fixed damage to anyone stand in front of him.
the aoe will pass blink so please have stoneskin on if you are taru mage
i got kill twice when killing this
HP 667 MP 971 as lv70 taru blackmage
i was lving there as lv70-72 party
we use this 1 to finish the chain #5
it give us 270-300 exp in chain 5
but it is very hard to kill
don't suggest any poor equipment party to kill it
it is also strong against fire
my firgaIII can hit 1200 on tiger on tiger thre
but only hit 7xx in this
thunder spell work well on this
