They show up by the exit from King Ranperre's Tomb, heralding the spawn of the HNM King Arthro. When all the Knight Crabs are killed, King Arthro will appear.

after 10 minutes of holding one of these he went Berserk hit a fully buffed PLD for 400 hp each swing almost killed him.
