Since Marquis Nebiros is a SMN NM and he is the master of this "pet" i think i'll go out on a limb and guess its an avatar. Most high lv nm (espically demons) have "elementals" that are accually avatars. Then again I've never entered a dynamis so i donno......
(Hmmm)... maybe its the elemental of dragon? Sounds stupid but maybe Dragon is an element in the FFXI Mythos, just one PCs cant use (Exept for possibly some spells Dragoons get that hasnt been added yet)
