ok so ive been soloing 2 buffaloes at a time with a gimpy /dnc sub ^^
using Aspir Daze and full tank gear
i'm 75PLD/34DNC can i solo him for my Gigant mantle?

Just owned this guy with a party of 5. Blm,Smn,Smn,Thf,War. He dropped our warrior twice but our Blm Coejus kited him for what seemed the majority of the fight. Blm finally ate it towards the end, but I had Leviathan out so I 2 houred and Tidal Waved his *** for about 1500 DMG while Arilayne our other Smn Did Netherblast. That finished it off. No Gigant mantle; ; but we did get 4k exp out of the deal. It was fun fight but hell to get too.

EZ fight, looks cool though.
Just a note on your gear. Don't want to be switching gear so much that reloads your character, makes it annoying on the white mage to not be able to target you because you keep disapearring for your macros.

I've yet to recieve a complaint about gear swaps honestly. One whm asked why I did it, and I politely explained it to him. Afterwards, he saw why I was doing it and didn't mind. Some LS mates like to give me a rough time about it, but nothing horrid.
During Dynamis and Sky, I just keep the regular haste gear on so the only time I blink in/out is for voke and WS's. Which really isn't hard on a good healer.

Posted: Jun 01 2006 at 3:09 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) lol @ gear macro for voke. sooner or later you will learn how enemity works, and realize macroing it in and out for voke does absolutly nothing, enemity is an over time effect and doesnt do anything unless left on for a period of time.
