As Blm/Rdm you can solo them but its really more of a hassle than its worth I think. They take awhile to kill and Im not even sure how many I killed in the few times Ive gone out there but I havent gotten any hides. Fun to give it a try though just to kill something new if your bored.
Been fighting these in Grauberg trying to see if they drop skin, so far I am roughly 0/15 or so. Of those 15 kills I have recieved 4 mauls, 1 horn, and no skins with Thf 3. All have checked as DC
Tp moves are as follows:
Boiling Blood- Pretty nice haste effect, noticable difference in attack speed.
Granite Skin- Defense move, seems to work on a timer not amount of dmg absorbed, ranged attacks get through it.
Demoralizing Roar- Pretty vicious attack down effect, though fairly short duration.
Batterhorn- Heavy attack (200-400)

as in tp moves?
yes I only know that they have a defense boost
The few times my friends and I killed some of these guys they dropped the Wivre Maul. Sadly the price has dropped since then because they used to go for 50k. Now they are going for 20k, which still isn't too bad a price.

Where can you find these? Pos? and i assume if blm can barely solo i shouldn't try with thf? hehe
i was in a exp pt for the greater colobi (sry for typo) and saw these dudes. we pulled a few nothing much. after pt disbanded i though id solo 1. started out fine but about 1/2 i had to rest a lil, problem was it was starting to resist my sleep. granted im a blm but still. when it died i had 2 2H had about 30 hp and 100 mp. was about 300ish exp and no items dropped. i was blm/whm /rdm probly woulda been better
they dont agro and they dont link and have over 8k in hps.

these things replace the bugaed mobs out in Nyzule isle, but I hear they do much of the same moves.
