I've seen this mob in East Ronfaure [S] when i clicked on it said Notorious Monster. Then it blew ifself up without being in a fight. I didn't want to fight it as i was only Ninja lvl40.
I saw a gob laying on in Gustaberg, but I don't remember the name of the gob... Anyway, it used the same animation as a gob digger burying an item.
As BST, I would charm a pet and use the pet to detonate these things. I was running thru Rolanberry Fields when I saw a gobbie lay one, figured what the hell use the pet to check this out. Pet went over, BOOM!!!! Crawler takes 200-300 damage, lesson learned without suffering, we have mine fields. Reminds me of the ToA Qiqirn THFs. So, BST use our area pets to clear the zones of mines. And nope, nothing dropped.
I was walking past one of these just as the Goblin laid it.

Don't know, but sneak may get past these, will test later.

Also found one of these that a goblin dropped in East Ronfaure [S], and conned Impossible to Gauge lol. After about 30 seconds it exploded by itself, not sure what the range on this thing is but i'd stay away.

Today i saw it 4 times in East Ronfaure [S], want to get close to it but blow up. Each time i try to reach or cast something, it blow up.
First time I saw one was in Vunkerl Inlet, was checking everything (as it is new area) and conned imposible to gauge, then I said to LS "Found It! Goblin Mine <pos> <call14>" then BOOM! blow up, got really scared lol. Next one I saw was in West Sarutabaruta [S].
So far i've seen 6 of these. Wonder if u can get it, or if drops something... or how to kill/capture it without blowing up.

They are very weak, at least the ones in Rolanberry Fields [S] are; took 2 xbow shots to kill it as a 75THF/NIN, and it didn't explode when it died.

Just found out, they are set by the Goblin Skirmisher stay around 10 seconds then explodes, seems like strong agaisnt magic. Don't drop anything when you kill it.. (or havent droped anything yet?). If you follow any Goblin Skirmisher, it will eventually set one on the floor, if anyone wants to see it.
