I have also in rare cases found these in attohwa chasm near where tiamat spawns. They con VT to me at lv 70.
lvl 74 bst, they con T to me. I got 160xp, so must be lvl76

Not just Den of Rancor, but you can also find these guys at Attohwa Chasm. I know this cuz I got aggro from one while fighting Tiamat w/ my LS lol...

these guys are jerks...... they self destruct early and hit very, very hard with it. we fought two when doing zm4, and both times within 15 seconds or so of the fight they blew themselves up. rdm died the first time, i died the second. did between 500-1000+ damage to our 64-70 pt.
