Ok I tested it today, with the first quarter of moon and my WAR AF boots on... it's AWESOME! The latent effect is active very often and I was able to hit up to 4 double attacks in a row!! Plus the weapon latent effect combined with WAR double attack allows you to hit up to 3 times with a single attack (I suspect you can hit up to 4, but I assume it's very rare).
I'm not kidding, this weapon is great! I'm gonna try it in party ^__^

yeah double attack can definately proc on both swings of this, like mercurial sword, allowing up to 4 attacks on one round, it gets insane hehe

The latent effect becomes active when the moon in in the first quarter phase. You can use this calendar to see when the phase will be active:

I could see this being a nice great axe, if the latent isnt ridiculous to activate and like most ocassinally multi-attacks weapons, it attacks twice more often than not. Otherwise it's just neat-lookin, as was said

never heard jack about TH. had one for a couple of weeks, and, well, this GA pretty much just looks neat. SE successfully ruined a potentially great weapon once again -.-
A guy on my server that has the Great Axe, says it gives Treasure Hunter that is comparable to a Thief.

2 items give extra TH, they are Thief's Knife and Assasin's (hand slot), and then they only boost it by 1% each. If it does not SAY IT, then it does not HAVE IT, as is the case with Millionaire Desk (THIS DOES NOT ADD TH). That war is a liar liar pants on fire.

there are many items with hidden effects on them-
example:
Toredor's Cape
(not saying this GAX has or does not have TH.... just saying there are items with Hidden Effect)
