The Brais and Finger Gauntlets are some of the best pieces a Dragoon can wear
Lol... Dont ever put brais on while DDing... keep your Barone on STR+2 ATK+6 "Jump" TP+1 will never be replaced untill you get Hetacomb legs(super rare) for Weapon skills then after WS put Barone back on. the only time you put your brais on is IF you have too much hate and high jump is up.
This is again, an awesome headpiece for Dragoons. Dragoon AF and AF2 make them impressive especially in the area of solo play. And I have a funny feeling that I'll be flamed for that statement, but Dragoons are great on their own with a good mage sub.
I personally prefer DRG/BRD for solo play so I never, ever have to sit due to Spirit Link and the Threnodies' quick cast time. No use for mp and offensive breaths to go along with healing (at 1/4 (not 1/5), 1/3 with armet).
That said, DRG/BLU has a LOT to offer a party setting with a full healing wyvern (1/3, 1/2 with armet). This healing breath triggered with a spell as fast as foot kick (5mp), power attack(5mp), sprout smack(6mp,slow effect), wild oats(9mp,vit down), or even bludgeon(16mp,3-hit) will deal decent damage quickly and trigger healing breath at lv40 for over 120 easilly at minimal cost.
Drg/brd is very useful in drg burn parties. But if u have your staff skill, when u start to get low on mp switch to staff get tp then use spirit taker which pretty much fulls a drg/mage mp to full (no down time if you are in an area where santion refresh doesn't work or it wears) and switch back to polearm.
The Brais and Finger Gauntlets are some of the best pieces a Dragoon can wear. The Wyrm Belt is also another great item for DRG's main elemeent: DoT (swapping in Warwolf for WS, of course).
Besides, it's a Dynamis drop. If Dynamis is a waste of time for you because your armor isn't any good, in your opinion, you're still [hopefully] going to help all your linkshell mates. So the time spent is the same, regardless.
