Not enough info on this but from what I read (when I wanted one) it's really year gain item I will let you know as I'm restarting and making a pass for myself, but knowing SE it's prolly only gonna be awarded to the "main" player with some ****** runner up prize for the newbie (who might possibly be so **** hot the oldbie washes dishes) go figure se and there rewards, If anyone has any more info on this item it would be appreciated either way I can't comment for another year lol

My husband and I just went to Heaven's Tower (we are from Windurst) to claim all three of our prizes. I came back to the game years ago, but had to make a new character, so my husband got a Gold World Pass for me. (We had no idea about the prizes to be had.)
So this was years ago. Then my husband and i both quit the game, stopped paying the monthly fee, til early early 2009. We came back with the character reactivation service. Just yesterday we saw an airship in a friend's mog house and they told us about it being a reward.
We headed to Heaven's Tower this morning and I (being the invited) clicked Gold Pass Benefits. I was prompted to select my first prize (for 70 days) from the list.
WARNING: ALWAYS when getting prizes, invited gets prize, inviter gets prize, back and forth. If the invited gets the first prize and then gets the second without the inviter getting the first, the inviter will lose the chance to get the first prize.
You must be in a two person only party with just the inviter and invited. The inviter gets +1 item options compared to the invited. The items are still neat.
The prizes are awarded at 70, 100, and then 365 days, with the airship being available on the last prize list. Timepiece is available on the second prize list.
The days are not your actual play time. If you type /playtime that is when you were actually logged in for how long. (Example, when I type /playtime, it says 30 days and some hours). The days are counted by how many days your account as been active.

I have a few questions and was hoping a few vets or those experienced enough would be able to clear some things up. I badly want this airship.
My idea was i make a gold world pass for my friends mule that he newly creates and vice versa. Im just wondering:
1. If we would both get all these items?
2. If his character has to be actually online for this time that needs to go by to count or if it just starts counting from the second we create the character activated with an GWP.

You wouldn't be able to get any of the items for a mule unless the mule character was created on a whole new POL user account, since that is where the World Passes are used to join specific servers. If you are creating a mule on your already existent account, then they are automatically included in your server world.

A friend got me into the game and now a year later we both have one of these. It's fairly large and all the props spin. Not really very useful unless your going for light enhancement in your Mog House. It does look very badass though.
/sigh id really like to have one of these.... ive given out about 20 gold worldpasses so far and the ones that were actually used, the most time a person has stayed around is like 3 weeks.....

Woot, I have this thing in my MH now after inviting Azelius to Fairy a little over a year ago. I put it on my desk =3 the propellors spin and it looks pretty neat, better than the one in the Duty Free Store in Port Jeuno at any rate :D

Actually if you knew anything about the world pass you'd know there are more items that are given out:
