s'funny. by the time a drg can merit these, their throwing skill is still lvl 0. guess they should start skilling up, since not many things can be thrown by a drg. until 75 lvls later lol
An angon was a type of German throwing spear modeled after the Roman pilum. The reason (I suppose) that the angon ability has the defense down effect that it does is based on the construction of such weapons. They normally had a wooden shaft, with a short section of iron shaft immediately below the head. This portion of metal shaft was intentionally made of a mild iron, meaning it was fairly ductile. The weapon was designed this way so that after it had struck a target the head would catch in armor/shield and the ductile portion would bend under the moment of the wooden shaft. Not only would this make the weapon useless to throw back at the original user, but as long as it remained wedged in armor or a shield, it would be a cumbersome annoyance.

This goes in the ammo slot, and lets you use your merited ability "Angon" which lowers the mob defense by a straight 20% according to the information available. For each time you use the ability one of these are expended.
Pretty cheap at vendors, and very worth using in any situation.

Sounds good. I know it's much sought after at endgame.
