Does the Zanshin effect proc for a non SAM or /SAM? Below, someone reported a 5% additional Zanshin from this cape. Is this the same for someone without the Zanshin trait? (For example, I'm interested in this for BLU/NIN) In advance, thanks for responding.^^
This item enhances the effect Zanshin, it does not add the effect if you do not have it. Yet it does work for /sam as Zanshin is a lvl 20 abilaty, making it avalible when subbing sam at lvl 40.
As for "Store Tp" and "Subtle Blow" you do not have to be using a sam or mnk for them to Take effect. They add +1 to any job/subjob.
It has been proved time and again, that "Enhances "Blah" effect, can give you that effect. Anyone have any definite: "Yes, i have tried this cap, and it does NOT give the effect" or "Yes, i have tried this cape, and it DOES give the effect"?

Proven to give +killer to any job that weilds it, also there are more items that do give effects that you dont have. This is the only one i can think of off the top of my head.
This cape is very useful. After you miss the first time, this enhances your ability to miss a second time! :P
Seriously though, this most likely is better than amemit+1 for people with 2H weapons, just because hitting harder is not typically their biggest problem - not missing (or making up for a miss) is. If there were a cape with a reasonable accuracy bonus on it, then this cape would be pointless.
5% would almost make since. Dual Weild on NIN lowers total base delay on both weapons by 5% right? I am wonderin now how much Double Attack on WAR increases the chance of attacking a second time. I never stated it to be 75% of the time. :P I am simply saying since Amement is not an Acc. piece of armor that this might help. I certainly wouldnt rely on Zanshin for your Acc. lol
I agree Amemit +1 is a very key item to be used by many melee class jobs, altho with the new updates to SAM this is going to be very key for many Jobs as use for Game end armor. At first glance you see this cape adds Store TP and Enhance to Zanshin Effect. As you are aware I am sure Zanshin is currently (pre update) a level 60 SAM Job Trait. As I am reading about the new updates to SAM they are going to lower this JT to level 20 range, allowing jobs to be able to benifit from Zanshin from a Sub class. (Not to mention some of the very pimp new Job Abilitys they are adding.) This is not something you will probably see to much in EXP partys, but more something that will be used by lv 75's against harder monsters where ACC is lacking. For Instance A WAR/SAM weilding a Great Axe, If you miss it sucks per slow attack rate, but with the new update with the sub SAM you will have a chance to take another swing for connection on the monster. Being able to Enhance this Ability I think is going to be very 'pimp', Altho this Cape should not be used for WS per it adding no WS DMG. It will be very nice for Kings and Gods and some Sea monsters.
