Decreases mp consumption to 1 for any spell. If you use it with the Gem Box relic, you can double cast Ultima for 2 mp. Very fun for killing the dragons or trying to mow through Kefka quickly and efficiently.

Too bad this is FFXI and not FFVI.
The Economizer replenishes MP for the automaton at the cost of 1 Dark Maneuver. The exact conditions needed in addition to the Dark Maneuver are not 100% known at the time of this posting however.
