I want to believe but it can't be proven that for these to work you need to be a member of the bone crafting guild seeing you don't need to be in it to get it.

but i can see why you think it might not be that easy cause most lantents suck.

Latent Effect

I don't understand how someone can prove/disprove this.
I am a level 100 ***** w/ all guild items and I have found that wearing these at times have resulted in a MUCH higher hq percentage (5/6) and other times many breaks for no reason. This very well could be the correct trigger, but how does one prove it?

You get these through a quest in South Sandy (S). Trade 4 Labybug wings to the person by the fountain for 3000 gil. Then trade a 5th Ladybug wing to an NPC in the same place in the present. This time, you'll get the Trainee Gloves.

Rumors have it that Sigil is needed to activate latent OR being in the past. More experimentation will be needed.

This could be a new guild item. I think I remember them saying in the update they were adding more contract items.
