I got this off of an Ocho in Rolanberry Fields.

sumthin funny i got this when i first started playing and not knwing what it was i think i either ate it or threw it away to make room for crystals.
Anyway later on i found it on AH and they sold for 10k I WAS PISSED.
Dont know how i got it or from what but i started in windy and got it when i was like lvl 6?! wierd huh

That's bird egg, not Warm Egg. Two different items.
It looks just like a bird egg with the description

The auction house classification of this is food-ingredients, at the end of the list.
You cannot synth the warm egg, it drop fro mAnemones and is Rare, not Ex and used in the Nothing Matters quest in Windurst.
Furthermore the HQ version of hard-boiled egg is soft-boiled egg, not warm egg.
However it is possible that warm egg can be used as an ingredient in a recipe, I know no such recipes though.

I've made several soft-boiled eggs instead of hard boiled eggs. No warm egg so far. Isn't there only one HQ of an item?
I don't think this one can be crafted, but correct me if I'm horribly wrong on that...
