I'm a level 40 BLM, do you think I would be better off with the Seer's gear because of the MP +1 while healing? of is the extra 2 mp and def worth it?
I use this on my Level 41 SMN during battles, and I switch to my Seer's Tunic +1 when it comes time to heal.
Really, the +1 to healing is the only benefit the Tunic has over this, and that only comes into play outside of battle, so all you need is a /heal macro, and you've got the best of both worlds.

Seer's Tunic is way better than this robe. You will probably keep the Seer's equipment until you get your AF equipment (lvl 52-60).

Okay, I'm from windy, rank 5 and sandy is in 2nd place while windy is in 1st. I have enough CPs and decided to get this robe. I went to the gaurd at the ronfaure gate to get it but he never gave me the option to buy it. Not sure why though, I checked all the conquest items he offered me and this robe wasn't in any of them. There was quite a few other royal squire things....

you have to change to sandorian to get this item. it is not a windy item.

can you achieve this Robe with CP if you're a Bastokan? on Unicorn this Royal Squire Robe comes for 15-17k in Lower jeuno...although not too shabby price saving 17k for other things is always welcome!
Can this be upgraded to a San d'Orian Robe, and if so, what is the recipe and level of (?) cloth skill?
This is Royal Squire CP gear. It's 2 ranks higher than the Kingdom CP gear and so completely different San'dorian CP gear. It does have an HQ variety but it's only called Royal Squire + 1.

I've checked with guards at jeuno and sandy.but i dont see this on list.does your nation have to be in power to get this robe?id love to save 25k if anyone can help me please..

My sources say that it's a San d'Orian Rank 4 item, and San needs to at least be second in conquest.

i prefer this to seers...i mean, generally at lvl 40 youll always have a bard, red mage or corsair in ur pt...so youll alwys have some form of refresh. this means +1 mp when resting isnt really worth it on the seers.
lol but overall, im fed up of seeing my stupid seers gear >.< im lvl 40, and people are gonna know it! :P
