Well, when I was originally lvling DRK, this was not out yet when I was lvl 55. So at that time RK chainmail was the thing to have. However now, for an Elvaan DRK I'm inclined to say that Jaridah may be better. It may have -hp but it has ACC +5 ATK +5 and RNG ACC+5 the last a plus if you are a DRK that makes use of marksmanship skill, which I strongly urge all of you to do ^^, it comes in handy in many situations.

Well, I'm currently stuck between Jaridah Peti and RK (Elvaan DRK)... any suggestions as to which one I should go for? I always loved my RS mail and I want to know is RK is worth it...

I got Royal Knight's Chainmail for 10k in Lakshmi (price is around 20k-40k). It's a nice armor for PLD until get Gallant Surcoat.
Ouch I guess I am lucky that it was only 60k on Fenrir on 19 July 2006.
Neat gear actually, good defence and the +attack/STR/DEX come in handy at those levels.
The body and the legs last for 55-58 for PLD. AF pieces come into mind around those too ^^

when i hit 55 drk i went with this over my brigadine.the stats it does are worth what i paid which is 200k on kajuta

I am a 54 SAM Hume, and i'm about to hit 55. Because im a hume, im debating between this and the Master's Gi. I was thinking this would be good, because i am a Hume, and it adds to my STR, which is needed because of the race i chose, but is it worth the loss of +4 Accuracy. I have a Venerer Ring, and a Life belt which is +14 Accuracy. Just a curiousl question, cause i wanna know if its worth forking out all the money to buy the Master Gi, or buying this instead for a smaller hit on my Gil. Thanks
i'd say go for the R.K. ya heavy hitters dont do much dmg if they miss, but the stats are too good to pass this up. +2 dex on it gives you +1 acc so your only really losing 3 acc ^^;
I've been looking forward to wearing this awesome armor for some time now but have since bought the Luisant Haubert, has the same 3 stats on R.K Chainmail but has +3 ACC, but much less def though.
I'd probably wear the R.K for farming or quests and the Haubert for exp pts.

This armor is great, good defense, some nice DEX and Attack (im a DRK) and it even looks great. Going for 80k on Odin

When this is not available in San d'Oria that means they are not first or second in Conquest.
