Is there a gardening site for planting by moon phases or day of the week, that sort of thing? I know ALL the pot/seed/crystal combos for MAYBE getting a sobbing fungus, that is if you don't grow the other two to three possiblilites. How do I get a sure hit? Is there a day of the week I must plant? Special phase of the moon? Is there a site that tells me this?
I have 10 ceramic pots in mh. Planted herb seeds on full moon, watersday. fertilized with lightning crystals at new moon on watersday. Missed my harvest time because of a great xp party, and also got my exoray mold for LB1...guess it was worth it. Anyway, harvested on windsday, full moon. Got two sobbing fungus, 5 stacks mhaura garlic, and 19 water crystals.

I lost my herb seeds (missed harvest) :( Anyway I can get them instead of buying them. I have read it's a rere drop on the Mandragora-type creatures in Tang. cAnyon. Any other way to restart this quest?

I wanted to grow some of this fungus to make silencing pot's to try to raise my <alchemy> skill.
I used Two ceramic pot's, each with herb seeds and a lightening crystal. My yeals were 16 water crystals and 4 bulbs of mhuara garlic.
Does anyone know how I can make it so it yeilds fugus?

I used Brass pots and got the Fungus on my first try. Hope that helps :)
Before I go off and spend loads of money funishing my house with flowerpots... Could anyone give me their expirience on the day and moon phase for planting and harvesting these? I've heard that they can greatly affect the outcome, just how much I'm not sure.

You must use Herb seeds, with a dark crystal or i have heard a lightning. This link is for a quest i have been told http://ffxi.allakhazam.com/db/quests.html?realm=Windurst&fquest=159. You should be able to grow them in any pot you have. PLEASE RATE HOW HELPFUL

I've been able to grow these and screaming fungus using vegtable seeds and dark crystals.
I hear grain and drak works as well.
