well for a pally like me with no real help to get the AF armor this armor seems perfect to off set not being able to get AF armor. Ill take it any day of the week.

I've seen this drop a few times when we killed Fatty Turtle and sold it. Not really worth anything on my server, and I don't see many people wearing them to be honest. I think in the end there are better gears out there than this bad boy, which has just straight up good defense.
On fairy world this goes for 26-30k. A good peice of armor if you can compensate for the heaviness(-5 agi)... you would have to sacrifice other add-ons and get +5 agi gear- plain and simple. Hope you all have the gil to grant!

There is another Body that gives 5 more DEF and doesn't reduce a thing and -5 AGI is kinda noticable when you keep on getting hit and can't parry

I personally go w/ hp gear in exp parties, 1600 hp gives the mobs lots of space to hit me repeatedly. the only race I see this any good for are taru and maybe galka if you're feeling up to it

got this to tank marids in new zones. Marid usually hit my Taru *** for 100~ with this piece it brought dmg down to 80~ . i Blocked just as often as i would have with AF body on. Maybe the AGI+ helps for other races, but for taru this is a good body piece.
Its similar to the mithra rse gloves, the river gauntlets, which give like 6 vit and -5 agi. It may be subjective, but whenver my agi was lowered i seemed to get criticaled like crazy. Its over 500k on siren too, so its very hard to think about getting it, when a lords cuirass isnt much more costly
uh i jstu bought this for NO reason just to try it on, now im selling it back my base def is 419, boots it to 440 but thats still really ******, i mean AF body has +20 HP +4 VIT, very good for gods :) and the +2 enmity helps too, I just use the armor setup of (as of now) Koenig head, Koenig Hands, AF body, Adaman Feet, and crimson feet, and koenig shield, so yeah...

it's not really worth much besides in the maat fight or maybe against seiryu or kirin but this armor looks damn nice on an elvaan paladin
This piece of gear compensates very well for the amount of DD gear I pile on as 70PLD. I take hits like I'm wearing AF when I'm actually wearing ATK earrings, RG collar, Amemet Mantle, etc.
Works great unless your party goes apeshlt and fights Hob. Anglers at 70.

I used this armor before i had my koenig set .^^
But by that level 15 def doesn't make a huge difference.
I mean, plds can get up to 700, wars in def mode get up to 400-500..

When I get lvl 60, do ya'll think this is a good armor? I mean -5 AGI isn't great... ,but if I use Absorb-AGI it should counter it....
yeah... this armor's pretty useless for drk, your def shouldn't matter all that much at this lvl unless your tank really sucks. as for pld, VIT > DEF at this lvl, and AGI helps parrying and shield blocking (from what i'm told by pld friends). so all in all, this armor kinda sucks. For DRK or WAR, definitely go haubergeon or hauberk at this lvl. WAR tanking should use the AF body piece >>+8 enmity<< and vit+
I'd recommend a Haubergeon. Boosts attack and accuracy very nicely. Helps a LOT when exping, considering DRKs miss a lot. But that's just my personal experience, if you're turning the mob a lot, I suppose this cuirass could come in handy. Or you could switch between the two. Whatever works for you.

Considering the AF armor only has like 44 armor for most classes, and defense never really jumps much ever again, then YES, this would make an excellent piece of EQ for a paladin, warrior, or a dark.

if you can give me 1 good reason for a drk to use this armor go ahead. at this lvl even the insanely expensive and pretty much useless demon's harness would be better for a drk. hauberk is your gear of choice at 70 pld can use AF or if they have the extra mp go for lords/kings body vit+5/6 respectively is much better than 60 def plusd the extra agi you have remaining from using AF/lords/kings instead of this helps shield skill/parry/evasion so overall this armor is junk
Hmm, I agree with you on this one, but who knows hehe. I wanna get it as well once i get higher, while I wait to get the Abjurations for the complete Koenig ^_^.
