Sweet, just managed to buy these on Remora for 50k. That seems to be the going rate here. After reading these posts I was expecting to have to pay a lot. (Remora has been so inflated in the past)

i read through here a few months ago and saw other servers complaining of 500k+ for this thing, and others getting it for 10k. i figure i'd check for myself back then. 9k. i promptly picked one up, expecting the worst a few months later.
i was right. last one sold for upwards of 180k. boy am i glad i acted quick even at lvl 60...

I think he means he has a Thief's Knife or Assassin's Armlets. They add to Treasure Hunter.

well on asura this is now going for 1mill is seems now that anything worth while is now 1mill...guess ill just save up that 200k and put it more into my woodworking craft..... ~.~ /sigh
The last 10 of these go for 10k to 40k. There was one available in the last day and I couldn't buy it for double the listing price, so I said F that. Well Rongbay's dumb *** (Phoenix server) paid 150k for it. Thanks for royally ******** the economy you lazy bum.

i the grand scheme of things 150K for how much you need this item is fair. maybe you should get off your lazy bum and kill the NM yourself, you don't HAVE to pay anything.

heh of course he would have to get a few people to go with him.... o.O he couldn't kill this thing by himself even if he was lvl 75.
I read these posts on about how much this goes for and wanted to see for myself, so went to the jeuno AH and grabed one for myself.
I am after all 7 levels away from actually using it.
Anyways, I got it for 9k lol. Yep thats right, history was all around 10k and last one sold for 9.5k, so I figure try 9k even and yep I got it. Who knows when it'll skyrocket up to 500k or something like sniper rings went from 400k to 650k last time I checked.

I bet thfs really want these for the lvl 70 limit quest to get to 75. They have to steal from Maat instead of fighting him. In one instance i've heard that if you fail to steal you have to fight him like everyone else. In another, i've heard you can try to steal again and again if you fail. If the first is true, thfs could really use such a large bonus to the "Steal" skill
dont forget that i believe there is a 10 minute time limit on the fight so even if you do somehow manage to survive after 2 unsuccessful steals, you wont have enough time to get a third one off
i'm 61, so it's not TOO far off.
From what i hear, we have to Steal, then he aggros. so it's best to bring a scroll of reraise so you get two chances to steal.
Important to note that i've heard you don't lose XP on this limit fight..

Thief's Kote is 35k on Alexander
I could only imagine what this would actually sell for since the Steal +1 item (rabbits foot?) is already HUGE gil.

The Rabbit Charm is expensive for several reasons...
1) Its a very low level
2) Steal +s become VERY valuable when u can steal gold beastcoins
3) DEX+1 and AGI+1 is nice for lvl 20 (i think its 20) until you can get Spike Necklace (Lv. 21)
4) Around 5% drop rate even with TH2
So don't go thinking this is a money maker, only kill Jaggedy-Eared Jack if you REALLY want the item. Otherwise its not worth it....
And Thief's Kote must be way jacked in price on others servers because its not a difficult drop with TH2+
However, this item is indispensible for a THF70+ with no craft to make money, as Gold Beastcoins can be used to make Gold Ingots, which are obviously very valuable

actually it's MUCH lower, Rabbit Charm is lvl 7!!!! your probably thinking of the Key Ring Belt with gives DEX+1 and Steal+1, it also dipenses skeleton keys(hence the name) and its lvl 20. The belt is RARE/EX and gotten from a fairly easy quest that is reapeatable(for when charges run out).
i would say, like the job specific rings/earings, that this wouldnt go for a LOT... it is too high level, and not enough buyers, which makes the price go down.
well, the reason the Rabbit Charm sells for so much is because of how rare the drop actually is. but no doubt, this item probably is expensive as well. :)
Also, the charm is usable by low level characters, where as this item is not.
