traded a person 800k, a mannequin feet, and a stack of imp brz pieces and the total would come up to around 900k. Last one sold on AH for 1,100,000 Gil which is who I bought it from. Considering theres only about 5 of these bows on my server, I'm happy I have one since most RNG's on my server use an E.bow, O.bow, Selene's bow, or Hellfire.
And this bow looks cool to (I'll try to get a pic of it) and goes with my fire staff nicely. Also beat maat (broke the record even) with this bow.

Hey everyone 1st post btw /cheer. Anywho just finished watching the movie "The Omen" and my ps2 was still on so i figured id look around the AH planning what im gonna buy for my RNG(46) in the near Future. I was looking in Ranged because i was going to buy a Musketeer's Gun when i saw there was a Gendawa+1 in the AH. Before then i had only seen 1 ever and it was on a good friend and a die hard ranger/crafter Eragonn of Magitek. He uses the bow and says its the best one ever except relic and blows ebow away. There has only been 4 sales in the AH on my server(Fenrir). I said to yself "what the hey" and through a bid of my whole bankroll at the time which was 261,735gil and BOOOOM much to my shock "You buy the gendawa +1 for 261,735 gil." from a very unlucky player named Kingkai. All i can say is WOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOO 2nd strongest bow in the game and i got one. GL to all of you getting yours.

I just got this crafted. This is supposedly one of the hardest items in game to HQ, the guy warned me about breaks, he said 1/30 HQ rate but i gave him enough for 6 synths. On the second synth BAM! I have a Gendawa +1!!!!

I just made one of these today, and was hoping that someone might be able to get me a price check for the various servers out there post-nerf. There are only two in the AH history on Phoenix, and both were sold in September of 2004, so it is really hard to get a good estimate.
I appreciate any help that anyone is able to give me. For reference, it would also be helpful to have the going rate for ebow on your server.

I'd rather have a Hellfire+1 for BCNMs and God fights and other important events, and an O-bow for exp parties.

Difference is Gendawa+1 OUTDAMAGES Hellfire+1 on Gods etc, not just in DoT but for WS and Barrage also.
What makes this bow so special is it has no damage cap, only one other bow (outside relic) like that exists (Ebow) and this thing can hit harder than it with the correct equipment setup.
Currently at 8 million gil on my server, ouch.

This bow is very fun. I noticed per hit it doesnt hit hard compared to my Hellfire +1....But when it comes to WS i there is usually a 150+ dmg more with bow then my gun....So overall i consider this the best bow other then relic...The bow only cost me 5,000,000 on Midgarsormr we have a really lucky NA woodworker who made 6 of them...they are the only 6 on our server no JP have even bothered to make this bow i guess...overall this is a very nice bow i just recently got and better then Ebow imo by a long shot...

This bow has a hidden effect the other bows don't have or have depending on how you look at it. Shigeto and Master Casters supposedly have something like a str cap or atk cap on them much in the same way I suppose food does now. I honestly believe Shigeto has something hidden on it to keep it's damage down because Samurai have around +50 or more str on top of their base Str. They should be way out damaging Ranger shot per shot with Shigeto but they dont. It's believe Gendawa does not have this cap on it or that the cap is a lot higher on it than other bows. This means your stats like +r.atk +str will affect the damage output of Gendawa more so than Master Caster, Shigeto or Euryto's.
This is completly untested information by me but it's the rumor I've heard from multiple sources and their is most defiantly a reason JP would pay 5m+ more gil for Gendawa +1 than for Euyto's.
Also if you look at Gendawa +1 it's a really good bow. All you lose from Euryto's is +3str +23r.atk and some delay. You gain +1r.acc and an extra 6 dmg on the base of the weapon. A level 75 Ranger can make up the attack loss on other equipment and the delay helps more than hurts because it's the perfect delay for getting the most out of Barrage while not being uber slow. The only thing that really hurts is the loss of +3str but +3str is not going to cause more dmg than 6 more dmg on the base of the weapon.

This thing is rediculous. Sells for about 17,000,000G on Fairy, But I've seen it in action, and seen the Damage, E-bow's a twig with string compaired to this

This has never been sold on Fairy , atleast not on the auction house . I only know of 7 of these on the server .

HQ gendawa smokes ebow, extra 18-20 damage per arrow against gods, ~150 extra dmg on ws.
and 100tp return from barrage. Best bow in game, but u will never know unless you try it.
Nobody will sell it, so the only way to get it is so make it .. JP offer about 16m for it, ebow only 8-10m.

Considering that ingredients dont look expecially rare or expensive and that it looks like 100k bows "Master Caster Bow" (dmg 77, windurst: R.Acc.+7) and Shigeto (dmg 75, R.Att+15, sam: R.Acc.7) I' d pay 150-200k for this. But If you are windurstian then Master caster bow is way better then this unless you can afford Euryto's bow ^^
