Ive seen it up to 1.2Mil in Diabolos. 300k is LOW for this drop.

I saw a legit sell for 10k in Sandy on Asura ... I was pissed i didn't get it =P. prolly some noob that didn't realize what he had.

please read the lower posts, they explain that it is used by theif in a Genkai quest, who need to steal from Maat to win. +1 Steal is worth every penny to them.

When I first started this game, I thought it was just another small step above Forest-Hare. I thought it was like Wild-Rabbit < Forest-hare < Jaggedy-Eared Jack. I was right about the greatness, but I underestimated my noobiness back then and got owned. Since then I have only seen it once more, but it had already been killed.

i camped jack for 2 strair hrs he drops me the charm i haddnt equiped it yet on my way back i get d/c when i come back its gone
i talk to GM the tell me they cant do crap

Okay...here's the deal...
My friend was camping Jack and he was like so excited. But he was level 3 and got whooped by it.
So later on that day I see Jack and I /tell my friend "I'm gonna kill that wabbit and avenge you man!"
So I throw my boomarang and I hit the ugly bunny for 14 dmg...and I was a level 5 thf/war at teh time. I almost kill Jack when I get D/Ced and lose my chance!
An hour later I tried again and someone voked it RIGHT before my 'rang hit...NMs are tough cookies to own.
I wont give up...but next time you fight Jack..remember my fallen comrade...

Yesterday, just before I had to log out and go to work, I decided I would see if I could find Jaggedy. I wanted to see what my luck was like. Sure enough, I found him sitting by the hill with no one around. Jumped him with my 11Pld/5War and pretty much just wiped him out. Next thing I know, there was the charm in my inventory ON THE FIRST TRY!!!! I couldn't believe my luck. Now my question is, what should I sell this for on the Leviathan server? I have seen prices here from 250-300k, and when I checked the AH in Sandy, it has no history of a sale for it.

Jack and I share a Love/Hate relationship. Simple: I Hate him....Jack Loves that I hate him.... Don't know when he'll finally drop the charm...not even going to hunt him anymore(0/60+)
But I'll tell ya what...if i do see him on the way home back to San....I'm gonna tear his leg off and make a charm outta it..- - (Thank You!)

I about craped my pants when I was returning to town after a 2 party aliance doin garason. I didnt get any items, everyone loted. All I got was the Gil, which I though wasnt to bad, since I was down to my last 2k. But then on my way back, for some reason, something in my head said " turn around, one last time, maby Jack is there". And shure enough he was, at the time I was lev 41 summoner/20whm just had the level 20 cap lifted, very low hp and mp and only a Yew wand on me, wearing my fishing tunic! lol . I cast DIA, hit with my club about 5 times, GOT THE RABBIT CHARM !!!!! I freaked out. on shiva server it goes for 300k ! Well I guess I dont have to do the garason battles for a while. Dont know what I'll do with it yet. Maby level Thf just to show it off! ^^

If i ever got this item i would sell it, everyone looks for the get rich program and NM hunting is the way to do it. Im a lvl 40 whm and my spells are not cheap. I like to earn what i get too, so if i beat out all the other campers to get it i have earned the right to sell it and buy things for my current job. Some of you want this to improve steal witch will improve you gil. Well we are both getting gill im just getting mine faster.
For all you few People Wondering why this Really cost so much .. its cuz at level 70 You need to do Genkai-5 which is to Fight maat ... and you need to steal from Maat to beat him(if your a thf, other jobs, you have to do sumthing different) . so the +1 steal may not seem alot, but you will need every little bit of Help when trying to steal from maat. and trust me Genkai 5 is a Pain in the *****

its 12:07 am est earth time me n my friend just chance just got the damn rabbit to spawn and we didnt get the charm its the first non quest NM i EVER saw we got bored waiting for the next spawn so we headed down to LTP to camp the truffle for the fungus hat.... i doubt we will have ne luck i wanna hunt the wascaly wabbit some more but in 30-40 min we will move on for rams and elementals then off to valkrum for the emporer.... i doubt we will have ne luck but i am always looking for a camping buddy to split things with lemme know if ur interest... my name is daikenkai on the gilgamesh server i am a rdm 35 i belong to black spire LS!

Ok, I've camped the rabbit charm for quite a while since I started playing in November. I've heard just about EVERY "myth" about 100% guaranteed drops and such from tons of other campers...and they are ALL wrong. Although certain times may have higher drop chances, it is still 100% LUCK to get this drop. I have tried every method I've heard, and STILL have no charm. Below is my "history" for this mob which should be evidence enough of this, and it is ALL FACT.
NUMBER OF TIMES FOUGHT:
I lost count around 30...estimated to be somewhere near 50-60 now.
JOBS CAMPED AS:
*THF/RNG* (my most common)
ALSO FOUGHT AS:
RNG/THF, WAR/THF, THF/WAR, RNG/WAR, WAR/RNG, PLD/WAR, PLD/THF, NIN/WAR, DRK/WAR, RDM/WHM
TIME OF DAY CAMPED:
Every day, at all different times of the day, both in game and out.
NOTED MOON PHASES FOUGHT:
New Moon - 0%, 2%, 3%, 5%
First Quarter Moon - 47%, 50%, and 52%
Full Moon - 95%, 97%, 98%, 100%
Last Quarter Moon - 48%, 50%, and 54%

been a dang whm for over 5 months "i am tierd of healling someone else can do it for awhile give me some combat" srry for rant but the ? is in regards to TH2 AND TH3 i am no noob by no means but i dont claim to be an expert either i know how to do my job and do it right. But to my knowledge I am awware of TH2 but i Know nothing about TH3 can someone please explain if this really exists or if its bull. I have done some research on this and came up with squat the job form says Th2 as a passive skill but your thread mentions TH3 i have noticed this from several other people also. thanks

Congratulations to all of you that finally got the rabbit charm. I am still camping for mine, and perseverance or just plain luck make it possible. As for people complaining about "high level" campers or people who "don't need it"...you guys seriously need to get a clue. If you DON'T have your THF leveled in this game, I feel REALLY sorry for you. So, with that said, EVERYONE needs it.
The person regarded as the most successful NM camper on my server (Gilgamesh) is a guy named Joaquine that is so good people usually just leave if they see him. His name is on the list of sellers of almost EVERY uber-rare item at all times, and he usually camps as a ninja, which doesn't have provoke OR widescan. So no matter what he subs, his odds are lower...and yet he STILL is almost unbeatable. And no, he doesn't bot.
With that said...everyone that uses this forum to whine about everything possible, just do yourself a favor, shut up, and camp. You'll get it eventually.

I think people have the mistaken impression that higher level players have somehow found the fountain of gil. Not only is it NOT true that we're all rich, but many of us are dirt poor. I currently need to catch up on 31K worth of spells (NPC prices, mind you - not from the AH), and my conquest points have plummeted to 200 since I stopped paying for tele-taxis and started warp-scrolling everywhere. It's a tough world out there, and it only gets tougher as you go along. The ONLY thing that helps is making reliable friendships along the way that you can count on for assistance. ...And occasionally it pays off to hunt NMs, too. :o)
The message here is to not allow yourself to be offended by someone else's success, unless it comes by way of sneaky, underhanded tactics. And even then, I don't fault someone for being greedy when this much gil is at stake.
I personally wish every single person the best of luck in their endeavors, whether it be farming, crafting, leveling, fishing, questing, whatever.

omg... last week the worst thing happend. I was hunting jack and no one really camps him so i figure id take a break from spook and lizzy. I saw him like 10 min after i get there i didnt get the charm but i did get a hide. I tried to get it for like 1 more week. I must have killed this thing like 50 times. Then i see him again, it says.

uuuhhhmm i am just wondering. is this charm really a drop item. i mean you are not suppose to steal it from jack. its a necklace after all and its just for THF right. i killed this 5x already using me lvl 22THF and lvl 5 warrior.

This thing would help SO MUCH for my THF. I'm currently 18THF/9MNK, I'm really assuming I'm totally safe to solo Jack. I have made so many trips to Sandy anyway for woodworking. :P

Lol. No one camps this NM on the Alexander Server, i usually pass by the spot four-five times, and never see anyone camping it.

My only question is, what does it really do? I've been trying to get the stew I need for AF1 and have been using my charm but so far I am about 0/15. Mind You I know I wasn't gonna get it first try but meh after 15 attempts I was hoping to at least steal a Coin or ANYTHING but nothing so far.
I believed that Steal +1 just really increased my chances of stealing. As against Gobs and such when farming Silver Coins I wasn't missing. But maybe I was wrong (lord I hope not...Hoping this is just bad luck).

It's not a huge increase, now that I have AF with steal enhancements I find on stuff that was easier to steal from already... I success alot better.
The stew is just uber rare, I steal from Quads in Beadeaux now and I still fail on them constantly, now that I have my AF they still only give the stew.
It's just really hard to get, all I can say is keep at it, your not losing out on anything by having that equipped. Might as well stick with it.

How one can log 4+ hours straight on a game is mind boggling. Now, I'm only 20, and I've been playing RPGs ect for a good 12 years now.. Aside from work, Basketball, and school, gaming is my life. This being said, people spending 4 hours camping a creature for cash.. says something about their character. That same four hours could be spent enjoying the game which one is doling out money for. If you're going to camp, then camp and -please- do not complain.
The other night I decided to try my luck at ol' Jack. I subbed my rng with my thf, so I could scan and flee. I waited about a half hour after killing a few rabbits. Jack popped up on scan. Immediately I tracked and fled. And then I saw the dreaded purple name. So I looked closely and Jack was owning a newb. I typed quickly "Dont call for help!". Then said "[Disengage]". So I stealed real fast to claim because someone else was there watching. Kicked his *** right quick, then saw
