I found this staff to be more useful on magic based mobs, IE Elementals. I noticed the MP drain rate is greatly increased when striking an elemental, or when striking a mob during its spellcasting stage, or while it has spells like Blaze Spikes casted on it.

Does anyone know of any hidden effects from this weapon. Its kind of odd that its SMN only.

usuall if it does drain it only drains 0 mp
and even if it would drain mp, you ar much better with an elemental staff cutting 2 oder hq 3 perpetuation cost

Got This On AH Today, Its Pretty Good In My Opinion, Only Downfall is the Added Effect barely activates on IT, ~75% on TW 65% on EP 55% on DC 55% on EM 50% on T and 25% on VT in my trials so far >.> Got it for 100k ^^

Obtained from BCNM at the Throne Room inside Castle Vahzl Keep (Moon Orb) using the battle name : Kindred Spirits. (Info from Mystery Tour)
