Just confirmed today that the SSG chest key drops from; Ghast, Ooze,
Riparian Sahagin (BRD type), Grotto Pugil
As a TH2 Thief, Drop rates for this key ...
Ghast = 1/3, 1/43, 1/30
Ooze = 1/24
Riparian Sahagin = 1/15
Grotto Pugil = 1/12

Im lvl55mnk Sylph atm, and i am really kinda stuck. there are so many things I want todo. ie, get tele-altep scroll (need map of Quicksand caves (I have coffer key)). I want(NEED) to do L2 (but I dont have anybody to help me). but atm, Im unlocking SAM to sub my mnk, wen I reach lvl70, which isnt hard to unlock.. But Im in Norg, and want the utsemi-ichi scroll, but again I dont have a map of Sea serpants Grotto.... all these things and nobody to help me >< I think im gonna go and relax in Yhuttunga Gungle in the area where Ivory lizards are supposedly meant to drop the marble required for the Yhoarter scroll quest more regulary and sit on the rocky landscape above the waterfall and meditate. Peace & long life ppl!

There may be other mobs that drop them, but I got a Sea Serpent Grotto's Chest Key to drop from Ghast.
It was by mere accident that I stumbled upon this key, as I was leveling my BST on fighting the Ghast.
If this IS the only mob that drops the key, it took me about two hours for it to drop.
Now, where to find this elusive chest >.>

and what mobs do we kill to get the key?
This can also be found in Coffers. That's where I got mine.

It can be found in any "Treasure Chest" The majority of them are behind the Silver Beastcoin door
