this is the Critical weapons like the other ones. you break the sub by making 500 weapon skill points just like trial weapons. once latent is unlocked it becomes permenent but the weapon image does not change. the latent is anabled same way trial weapons are broken only you need 500 points instead 300. i believe there is also polearm and cythe version of tehse weapons

this great katana has kick *** effect and can show monsters whos teh boss >=D
If i were a sam I wouldn't want this but it is the best GK for ninja. I have it and the latent effect is activated. I'd never really use it but its a nice collectors item.

Total crap? yes, yes it is. Go hunt Amikiri for the GKT he has or get Ushi from Zipanca in sky. If you can't go for either the get Hagun. Hands down this sux even with the latent effect, bad base dmg, no Str / Acc / Atk bonus, and Kamewari gives the same critical % bonus, plus others.

Well of course, because everybody is in an HNMLS that, in Amikiri's case, has absolutely nothing to do. Amikiri is like Serket x5 with dirty adds, and the only thing anyone else would be interested in is a V. Claw off him. (You can, apparently, get Pot Crackers from him. WTG Alla for translating the GKT and listing it separately)
Zipanca is a NM that drops pop items for the gods. Expect that to be heavily camped.
Moral of the story: Stop whining and get Hagun, because everything else is a hassle ^_^

If the latent is removable, then the weapon sucks. If people would actually READ the description than you'd realise the latent ability is what gives you the boosted ATK and critical hit ratio. If you lose the latent its just a weapon sans critical hit bonus with 65 ATK. It doesn't sound to me like this is a weapon with which the latent is removable.

You're misunderstanding how people use the term "Remove the latent". When people say that, or "Break the latent", they mean activate it. This class of weapons functions similiarly to the trial weapons.
You earn points based on doing WS or skillchains on EP or better mobs. Once you earn 500 points with this weapon, the latent is always active. So it's a lot of work to get it functioning, but once you do, you have a pretty solid weapon.

At lvl 72, there are already many GKTs available that have a DMG equal to or higher than this with the latent active. I'd say that the Crit.+6% really isn't that much... I prefer the STR bonus from Nukemaru @ 73, or Shinsoku(if you can afford it ><). Also at 73, is Ushikirimaru, 2nd strongest GKT in the game.
So, I wouldn't worry about getting this, its not worth it.

like all of the lvl 72 latent effect/critical hit rate weapons you remove the latent by preforming 500 WSs on EP or greater mobs.
once the latent is removed there is NO notification given expect your ATK value should increase and you should be critting more often.
IMHO the Destroyers are the best of this set of weapons.
Also they come from certain uncapped KS BCNMs

weapon damage has no effect on your attack.
I believe the latent effect for this weapon activates only when you are below 100% TP. That is what I heard.
That being said, don't quote me on that. I would rather see someone test it out then go off what a peer said.

If I am not mistaken you can remove it, and I believe it is the same as with the trial weapons, except when you are done the latent is in full effect.

If you can remove the latent effect liek you can on some items, this would awesome, atleast from what i can tell(i dont play sam)
Hey is the +6% critical in or out of the latent effect??
Either way its got a cool name, any translators?
I Think the delay is a little high though for it being 65 damage and at lvl 74. The Gold Musketeers GK is 399 and 65/66? damage and only lvl 60. But +6 critical is awesome. Im mithra so ill probably test it out when im that lvl
