This quest isn't hard at all it just takes patience to do it;just like any other event....
u gotta [SPAM SHOUT]for the chocolates u need!
I have heard that if you pair up with someone of the opposite sex you get to trade all chocolates between each other;but that's unconfirmed!
Anyways here's a break down on how to do this quest:
#1 Talk to moogle to activate Quest
this will give you a general idea of what you have to do in this Event.
#2 Theres 8 NPCs by the Name of Single Valentiones in each city,seek them out![Widescan
helps alot locating these guys]
#3 Talk to all these NPCs to get all the chocolates u need...You will get in total of 8 chocolate parts.1 is the left part of the chocolate which is Rare/Ex and 2 is the right part of the chocolate which will be traded to other PCs,till you get the match you need!
#4 Do pay attention to what the NPC says,ie:
Galka seeks mithra for companionship...so make sure u trade of of ur Galka chocolates with a Mithra Chocolate...The type of chocolate is not important as long as it's the one u require!
#5 Once u get ALL the chocolates traded with others PCs to match,then proceed to the Moogle to trade the chocolates corresponding to each others,ie:Galka chocolate Right part w/ Mithra chocolate Left part:you will get the full version of the chocolate which is now Rare/Ex.
After you trade them all to the moogle,you then go turn in all the full Chocolates to their corresponding NPCs[Single Valentiones].
#6 Final Step is to talk to the Moogle again to receive your reward!!! :p
#7 The Rewards differ and some confirmed are:
Chocobo Pass,Chocobo Tickets,Romance Potion and the Charm Wand!<Charm Wand+1...a possibility!?>
Charm Wand has 10 charges of Reraise 1,able to cast once a day on any pt member except yourself!

Valentione's Day commemorates the story of a courageous squire named Valentione, who fell in love with a noblewoman regardless of their gap in social status. seriously...anyone who condones spamming shouts in the cities should be put into FFXI jail...
did you seriously think that would be the best way to do the event? especially after the horror that was the greeting cards quest...
I'm sorry, but that alone gets you a rate down from me :(
