Are you sure you're a taru? That's REALLY weak dude. I hit 275 at the LEAST unresisted (340-360 on bursts) and I'm a mithra with same INT boost. You've GOT to be either not having as much INT as you say you do or looking at the wrong thing in the log.

Spell damage does not solely rely on the caster's INT / Magic Skill. It also depends on the mobs stats. You should have taken that into consideration (b")b

just a note:
ele seal, unlike its whm counterpart, does NOT increase dmg.
it is mostly used for enfeeble type spells to make them stick with neer 100%
it has been disputed that with attack type spells, it does almost gaurentee a full hit (no partial resist)

Just a note, ANY spell has a chance of failure. If it's an Elemental spell you'll notice that spell that was doing 264 before will drop down to something like 11 damage. If you use elemental seal beforehand it's almost garaunteed that you'll succeed and the spell will do the damage it's supposed to. So in a way Elemental Seal does do more damage.
