Spell details for Absorb-DEX  

Ok those who think they don't need this are wrong, its one of the best dark magic spells you can get until your really high level and have a nice TP build setup.
When you can get this spell, you should be using DRK/WAR, and have a lot of STR gears and some DEX (specially if your elvaan like me) due to the lack of accuracy at that level.

This spell is used on your DRK/WAR as much as possible to help you gain TP for your weapon skills, making this one of the most valuable moves, and due to what you need to actually fight for this Absorb to drop (High level demon in Castle Zvahl) the price tag is worth it.

Those who say Absorb-AGI is enough are wrong, it enhances Ranged attacks and evasion, yes it weakens the enemies evasion but i still believe that Abs DEX > Abs AGI for tp build any day.

I got my DRK to 75 first out of any job, and on the way had many times like this one, where i was asking people if i need to get this, the majority said yes.

In other words stop being lazy and get yourself some money for this, you wont regret it.

I really doubt that you can buy this dirt cheap when it goes for over 500k. (Lakshmi Server) Anyways, I can see this spell used for a good reason in 1 situation, you have a WAR/NIN or NIN main tank. Otherwise this spell is worthless, ABS-Agility is way better

I didn't read all the post i only read some of the way down. This spell isnt' to just bump up your stats. It also reduces the MOB's which is most important to your TANK. The less Criticals and hits he takes the better for your overall PT. Yes this spell slowly works off but its a GREAT asset to your team. Drk's who are underspelled are almost as bad as DRK's under geared.

This spell is the newest spell i need at 41, but last i saw it, someone had it for 800k in bazarr :/ i looked at jeuno ah before that, and it was 600k there- sucks too since i am elvann drk, i value DEX more than anything

As long as you have the right armor & such you don't need this spell at all. It isn't expensive because its great, only because its hard to get. If you miss a lot as drk, do what I do: focus your equip & food on Dex+ & not on def (yer not a tank remember). Absorb AGI is way more useful than this spell because it helps whole pt to hit the mob. When I'm lvling drk I usually have about DEX+ 15-19 depending on what lvl I'm at. I reccomend Brain Stew as a food. DEX +5 & lasts either 90 min or 2 hrs I can't remember. Brd's DEX+ song helps a lot too.

well i checked windy AH and didnt even find it on the list lol, i may have just missed it, i dont understand why it is so expensive compared to all the other Absorb Spells, my LS member told me its quite expensive,, but i am gonna do lvl 40 BCNM and hopefully ill get scroll of erase wich costs even more, and ill sell it

Thx man that was, kind of helpful! To Bad No body sells these Scrolls in AH on Asura, Besides they are at 500k since the Last one sold in Jeuno.. The DEX spell would be nice, but Two Deft Rings would give almost the same DEX the spell ever would.. Since Absorb Spells Desolve over time, atleast the Deft Rings DEX is always there.. So unless you really want to complete you DRK magic checklist then **** your gil into a Absorb-Dex scroll.. Or see if you can ask a party of 75's to destroy Duke and get the Scroll for ya.. but that'll prolly cost ya the same amount to higher 6 75's

Could be a huge update fluke, but I was checking the price on this yesterday in Windy... no spell listed in the AH?

Did someone at Squenix finally realize that this spell is IGE's best friend and gave the drop to a lvl 40-50 NM?

I just bought mine finally lastt night!!! Price went down from 400k -> 350k. So i decided to give in and purchase. Thing that sucks is with equip it's just a long term investment that you can sell back and upgrade later. Too bad not the same for spells =(. Hmmm. WE will see if it helps to get a PT invite quicker or not!!
