does anyone know if Baraera works on bats as it does on birds? just curious as I am working on getting things in line for going to Quifm with my LSG.
All the other bar- spells have the attribute of the element they are weak to, like barwater is a lightening-type spell because water is weak against lightening. So it seems that baraero should be an ice-type spell, because wind is weak against ice...
No... That is 100% wrong. Next time you cast a bar spell, open your equipment menu and look at what resist is boosted. Barstone increases your earth resist etc.
I think he means the spells type. As in it's elemental attribute. Same thing with Bard threnodies/Carols, if you want to boost the amount resisted, use something that boosts it's weakness, in this case, if you wanted Baraera to give you more wind resistance, you'd use an item that boosts Ice spells, like an Ice Staff.
