this spell seems to do less damage to large groups than smaller groups. I've not tested it very thoroughly, but I noticed that goblins I should be doing like 80-90 damage to (minimum) I do like 48 damage to in large (15 or more) groups. Still, great for train farming!

so how do you get the scroll other than buying it?
This spell killed me a couple of times when I got too close , till somebody let me know its "area effect " which means its not hitting the target directly sometimes . I would target a crab my party was fighting in the dunes , it would hit the crab and another crab next to it too . Now we have two crabs after me , the one I pulled and the extra one stonega hit . I guess its only good when there is only one mob around .

How much does it roughly cost
I bought this spell from Selbina last night. My Fire spell was doing about 55 to Clippers in Valkrum, and this spell was doing about 85 to Gobs. I think it cost about $1600 in Selbina. Just had to watch out for it's area effect, but otherwise worked great.

Alot of people asume that this is stone, its just the area damage version. There wrong, its the next lvl up from stone. It does double the damage almost as much as Stone II sometimes as much I think. Gotta watch that you dont hit other monsters with it, it also eats MP, but its still worth it. It does 70 to 90 damage btw.

Yes the spell is worth getting... but watch out for the area effect... Salbine or Windhurst sell maybe Juno

Selbina have two npc dat sells whm and blm scrolls
including all the II version black magic and area of effect magic I's.
Jueno sells all the III version scrolls. And as for the ultimate spells...well they can only be found on Notorious Monsters in Battle Circle Bosses and they're all marked as Rare.
