BTW the person that was banned since June 21st, they probably didn't review your account in time, its best you make sure a ban complaint is filed, or you file another one ASAP. Good luck. ><
I did. I was banned on June 21st (Sunday), and got a ban complaint filed on the 22nd (Monday). I kept calling in to customer support every day that week to check on the status and on Friday I was finally told that they investigated my account and decided it would remain banned. Of course I was like wtf I did nothing wrong, and the rep told me this ban was the hardest to get around unlike the ban in May for charge backs or the current ban in July for RMT activities. I even had a GM verify I had 0 strikes against my account and even he could not understand why I am permanently banned.
When I asked what I was banned for, all they would tell me is "irregular activities" but would not tell me exactly what it was. Then this 3rd round of bans came in the form of the RMT bans, which a lot had to do with gardening. Customer support said if I was banned this month due to RMT, I would have had a better chance of getting my account back and they would have told me exactly what I was banned for. So apparently being banned for being a RMT isn't as bad as being banned for borrowing a family member's credit card temporarily. I should have just started selling my gil online or something...
But anyway I haven't really heard of anyone in the June wave of bannings getting their account back. Nobody knows exactly what that ban was for, and customer service is keeping the details on that locked up tight. They also are making it nearly impossible to get their account back, making being a RMT even more inviting because customer service told me that they had a better chance to get their account back. I was finally told by one representative it had to do with "irregular CREDIT CARD activities" but that still isn't enough information on exactly what activities are irregular enough to get permanently banned for, especially when I still paid my fees every month and have nothing else wrong with my account. I mean any other company will allow the use of another credit card as long as they have some form of documented authorization, which I called in to customer support to give them voice authorization when I used it. But I don't know, I've already had 2 ban complaints filed and they still told me I am going to remain perma-banned. I'll see what this letter to Bisby and this complaint to the BBB does.
