Well, not while I play FFXI, but I get girlfriend aggro all the time. Just yesterday she wanted me to catch some monsters for her to finish her FFX file, and she kept distracting me while I did it, then when I moved over told me that we couldn't do anything until she got an Ochu. I was confused... I think she enjoys tormenting me.

This thread is very depressing and of course true. Being a weak WHM I am afraid to take on the IT wife by myself so I usually dont even put my flag up. This is why I farm way more than I need to and maybe solo quest. Its the only thing I can put down fast enough. When I do party I feel horrible the whole time cause of guilt trips.

No aggro, but she has a mean Charm and Provoke.

If she comes over she either Charms or Provokes. When she Charms, she'll lie sideways on the bed with her head in her hand and the other hand on her thigh. When she Vokes, she'll come up to me, wrap her arms around my neck, and start kissing me slowly. Yup, critical hits every time.

My girlfriend just doesn't understand that when she tells me to "just put the stupid game on pause for 10 minutes and help me with this" that usually at least 5 other people have to wait as well. I don't think she fully understands that everyone is going to have to wait while i'm gone. She thinks i'm just lying my way out of helping her.

"You see, i'm the white mage, so when the puller brings in a mob, no one will be there to cure and they'll probably die and have to either ask for a raise or HP."

Her response?

"I don't have a fuc$ing clue what you're talking about. Just get off your *** and help me."

Avoiding GF/W agro:

I've been working on a recipie for a few weeks now and I tried one that works incredibly well just yesterday:

Laundry Load: Armful of dirty laundry (1), laundry detergent (2), and optional dash of bleach (for whites you know...)

Do this several times (takes all of 4 minutes every hour). Absolutely unbelievable results! It's as if you have sneak, prism powder and deodorize all at the same time, you become invisible to said mob.

And water crystals are cheap!

Dont have a girlfriend, working on it though. Only problem is i cant pull one in the first place by sight or sound aggro, so i end up having to use /ra Pebble <t>, and that just makes the guys at security link on me :P

Well, of course; they're BCNMs. I don't seem to have any luck getting seals, either :(. But I hear they have great drops.

Heh. I used to agro my husband all the time. And I was Incredibly Tough. But then it was easy to get my husband off the game before I started playing. I traded <Key Item> <Potion> to him, zoned him to the bedroom and proceeded to show him all my various <Weapon Skills>. He would then remember that zoning to the bedroom helped in the long run, otherwise he'd have to <Change Job> to <Monk> and go <Hundred Fists> himself.

Until my husband traded gil with an NPC and bought another copy of the game. Then he /ja <Charm> on me and got me started on the game. Voila! No agro between either of us.

But now we have to deal with children agro all the time. So we usually try to /ma "Sleepga" and hope that they don't spawn in the middle of the night.
