I have updated the Plucker map to the new areas, as well as notorious monsters, logging, mining, excavation and harvesting locations.

Magnificent little program. Makes the retail one look like the collectors item it is. So much functionality it has to be seen to be believed! Keep up the excellent work and I hope to see this updated for the new Chocobo raising coming our way next month.

If you could fix that Lightningsday typo. 8D

How do you use this timer?
Where do put the "ffxi.prc" file? In the play online directory, then Final Fantasy?

Is there a version for windows mobile based pocket PCs?

Here is a awesome FFXI clock I found for Windows Mobile Pocket PC. I downloaded it to my new Cingular 8525 and it works great. Just have to make sure you download .NET compact framework for it. The page even has the link for that. Now the only problem I'm having with it is that the time is way, way off. I'm not good at fixing programs and wouldn't know what to do even if I did find something to get into it and fix it. So maybe someone else can open it up and tinker in it to fix it lol. Here is the link for the page.

have at it.... I'm still gona try and play with it to see if I can get it to straighten out but anyone else willing to try would be great lol Smiley: lol

Khamchan, I tried the PPC app you suggested and also found the clock was off. If you set your local time to EST, start the program and then reset your timezone on your PPC the program will show the correct gametimes and your PPC clock will be in the correct timezone.

You'll have to repeat this process if you reboot your PPC or kill the Vana-clock but it works fine for me. Thanks for the great suggestion.

On the other hand, it's too bad that the site hosting the original Palm app is gone now. I used to use it on my old Zire 21 and it worked well. I was going to start using it so I could just leave my Zire at work to use as a game clock but now I can't find the PRC file online anywhere.

If anyone still has it, please e-mail me at tanukikun at gmail.

Thanks.

After several years I've fixed it so that the Vana'dial time is calculated correctly again. It should work for another 5 years or so, until the numbers start overflowing again. I have also added support for the skills and skill chains for Dancer and Scholar. I suspect the new version will only work on Palm with Arm processors (Palm OS version 5 or later). If you want a version for an older palm, let me know.
