Has anyone tried trading all three belts to the moogle or all three scarves? I don't have 3 of any of them yet, just curious.

Yeah. I tried trading all 3 belts to the moogle and nothing happened. Did the same with the 3 neck items and nothing. Tried trading all 6 items and nothing also.

I finished the Bastok Moogle Quest (got Furniture item, Worm Belt, and Teleport Metal). People were asking eariler if Alliances would make the process of getting the cards go faster well last night I created an alliance with about 13-15 people in South Gustaburg. The pros of an alliance is that the cards that the other 2 parties get, my party could lot for. And we were getting cards like no one's business! I saw the rare Ebisu card pop up probably 5-7 times all within in 30 minutes! And I would say every 30 seconds or so (but always within a few minutes), someone found overturned soil and placed it in our treasure pool. The con is however that the treasure pool always got filled up too fast and people were slow to clear it (by passing or lotting), so that a lot of cards went to waste. It got quiet annoying to run, stop, lot/pass every 30 seconds or so >.>;. The most efficent way would be just to have a full 6 member party, an alliance kinda just made it very complicated and overbearing.

I do not recommend an alliance. It's 18 people competing for 1/3 the cards. Its like a party of 6 only getting 2 card drops each dig.

As far as the rare cards, justs change locations for them.

Ebisu can be dug up fast in Batallia Downs. I went there solo, got the Ebisu first dig, then went to Windy and did party for other 5 cards.

Rumor: the costume belts help you to avoid True Sight. True or false?
Rumor: you can only use the belts in town. True or false?

If the belts only work in town, I'm throwing mine away cause I don't have the space to hold onto it.

I saw him too. I think it is Fablinix! You can find his travel stories on Playonline.com under "A goblins adventure".

In the last letter dated on christmas eve, he mentions that he will show up in Vana'diel soon. Now I'm off to try to talk to him, hmm maybe give him some cards..

Mrr

Edit: He wont accept a full set of trading cards, a worm belt or a pumpkin pie..
And here is a piccie of him:
