That thing is going to get reframed and take a prominent place on one of our walls. My roommate was in boozers too so i have no idea what we are doing with 2 of them. I will say that the entire live event was a total blast. I can't wait to do it again next year. I'll admit though, i was feeling sketchy with that thing. Everyone wanted to look at it, i was seriously waiting for someone to try and bolt with it.

I handed mine over to a number of people who were sitting next to me and wanted to look and/or take pictures. They didn't try to take it, but I didn't take my eyes off of them for even a single second.

W00t! Hell yeah! I'm in! Smiley: grin Already have 2 more LS mates to join me. So I'll have four! Smiley: yippee /cranks out the PT pnts.

Who knows, maybe next year it will be closer to home for me. I was telling people online that we should post feedback suggesting they do it on the East Coast next.

Remember that goofy translator guy taking credit for booking everything? Here's his office:
Square Enix, Inc.
999 Sepulveda Boulevard, Third Floor
El Segundo, CA 90245

The only "gathering" or event I know of outside of CA was in HW. I mean, it's possible, but not plausible. Smiley: tongue Doubt SE would pay to ship everything there and back. This year was only 14 miles from their NA HQ. Regardless of where it is though, I had a great time and will be there for next year's! Smiley: waycool

Personally, I would've picked, in order:

1-The Yag
2-The SMN chick (in AF 1, her's looked way better than the other SMN)...I'm being biased of course, heheh
3-tie for the DRG and either the BRD in brown or the HQ AF of WHM

...that mandy....

What was the name of the 3 Zilart-final-nation-battle-NPC BCNM battle (Trion, Volker, Ajido)?

Where did it take place (what zone)?

Time limit and player limit?

Okay, Volker is a WAR. Which Job was Trion and Ajido-Marujido?

And I have vague memories of reading this before. Was this BCNM featured at one of the events, the festivals in 2005?

Yeah...I know, my costume failed >.>;. It wasn't very good (I was that other Summoner), mine was SUPPOSED to be AF1, but when I had my mom pick out the cloth she picked borderline AF2 colors <.<;. And yeah...the mandy scared me too o.o.

But at least I had my Carbuncle Plushie >.>. That should at least tie me with the other Summoner <.<

The name of the BCNM depended on whether you decided to fight 1, 2 or all 3 of them. I don't remember the names at all. I'm bad with things like that.

I believe that they all had subjobs, even though we were limited to not having them. I could be wrong though.

The three heroes of Vana'diel aren't as limited by jobs as we are. Volker, for one, is pretty ambiguous since he uses a lot of different abilities.

The set-up was level 60-capped, no subjobs. Each team of players was forced to use the six standard jobs (WAR, MNK, THF, WHM, BLM, RDM), and each came decked out in some pretty good gear -- not the absolute best, but definitely above average. Heck, the BLMs had a Boroka's Earring and an Intellect Torque. :P

I thought you did well with your SMN costume, you had the best SMN poses, and Carbie! :D

I think that the Elvaan WHM shoulda been up in the top 3. He did a very good job with his costume.

Also, I am sure my fiance in the Yag costume would have won first place if there weren't so much Dragoon Pride, plus I noticed that the MC stood there on the DRG longer, and let everyone cheer for a longer time :/
I really don't know what we're going to do with these speakers!
They have kinda become my side desk for now! LMAO

The mandy was peppy as heck, and I liked that. She had a lot of guts to run around in a lycra suit, and not to mention how freezing it was.

That Elvaan White Mage was in my Fan Festival party, along with the other White Mage with the Yagudo hat (I was surprised she didn't get into the top 10 >=o), But she was the one who made the Carbuncle out of the beads. And thanks for the support on my costume, I'ma try and make the next fan event with a new costume, one thats better this time =P

Sarlos and Feba, you guys rocked my weekend!^^ Where do you suppose we should direct our requests for an East Coast Fan Fest? Heck, I love the idea of Chicago, too. Thehusbandguy and I would definitely be going!

I thought the Yag costume was by far one of the coolest. I saw the link and was hesitant to click at first, but wow!^^

I think its sad, when I am teaching my kids tolerance and compassion, that we still have to deal with people yammering about a few extra pounds, or just ripping on someones looks in general. When you are ugly on the inside, no amount of costuming will disguise it. :) /soapbox off <3 <3 <3

As for the trying to get it on the east coast... didn't they recently, as in sometime last year, have an event in upstate new york, in Rochester? now.. I don't know how big a scale of an event it was in comparison seeing how I didn't go to either.. but, its possible I guess.

I think the reason that Volker seemed like a sam was that they all started the battle with TP. When my team tried the lvl 2 battle for the first time, our thf (me!) SA'ed Trion and started kiting him, and right as Volker charged our war he slammed him with vorpal blade for over half his HP. Whm freaked, cause he was right in the middle of casting haste, so he slammed his benediction and pulled all the hate and died quick. But he got back up and kept healing while weakened, it was pretty intense. Getting skillchained by those two, over and over, is frickin brutal. And it only gets worse when Ajido is doing his firaga 3 MB -_-

But yeah, he was definitely a war. I'll never forget that mighty strikes... I mean, the guy was doing 200+ per swing, without mighty strikes. That sumbitch hits hard!

You need a username and password to access that link, Zalora.

It's cool that you guys got all those autographs. I would have liked to have stayed a bit longer, but poor Ryan was falling asleep in that chair durning the concert. I'm glad that you got them though because I know you'd been talking about it.

I am so sorry the pictures are still not posted, you can blame my Linkshell if you want... ^^; I got stuck at work in a meeting, then I got home and found out my Linkshell had claim on Tiamat. It was our first time ever getting claim - and we took it down! We got both the Herald Gaiters and Noritsune Kote, so it was a pretty good haul. I *will* get pictures up asap, and I appologize again for not getting them posted last night.
