Thanks to another user in another forum I've found an email that will put me in touch with the Operations guys that deals with this stuff..

See good things can come from sharing your experiences.. maybe it'll change that silly "can't talk about your suspension til after its over" policy.

Thunderan? THUNDERAN!?

I'm sorry, but I've been skimming through this and feeling skeptical but when I saw Thunderan I am far more likely to believe the OP.

I have talked to Thunderan about six times over a year or two, however long it is, and so have people in my LS and other parties I've talked to. Thunderan is THE worst GM. He doesn't listen to ANYTHING anyone has to say, and at least twice decided that I was done asking questions.

If only Luminous had respond. Luminous rocks. :<

That GM used none of the macro'd GM responses. And he didn't sound too much like a GM, either. If SE reviewed those logs, I'm quite sure the GM would be in trouble for lack of professionalism.

In any case, it was idiotic of you to insult and berate a person who has the power to recommend your account for deletion.

Very interesting read, in this situation I would say that he had all rights to berate the GM. As far as I can tell they're required to tell you what you're being accused of, which he dodged repeatedly. Even if you were cheating he wasn't dealing with you in a professional manner.

Well, when your account is unsuspended you'll still be in Mordion Gaol, and you'll have to wait for about a half an hour before they let you out again. You're supposed to make a GM call when you want out, but those are slow. You can use that time to escalate the matter.

Oh Thunderan, why haven't you been fired yet?

I also have had issue with [GM] Thunderan (sp). I was attempting to resolve an ongoing situation with a harrasser, and Thunderan told me that slander wasn't against the TOS (neither applicable nor true), then told me that my previous GM calls were judged to have no basis for complaint (breach of the standard "we can't tell you the results of the investigation"), and that further GM calls would result in punitive actions against me.

I sent in an email through the POL form, never got a response.

So "today" you weren't using 3rd party software, but normally you do. The fact that you have admitted to using them makes me believe the GM more than you. I can't see what reason a GM would pick you out of every single other person playing at that moment and decide to ban you for no reason. Stranger things have happened before, but the facts you have laid out lead me to think otherwise.

It's things like this I hear about Thunderan so much. At times I feel like having all the servers write a massive e-mail complaint about that one GM. =/

I would be inclined to agree with you on this, but I have heard many times from different people, both here on Alla, and in-game about this shining example of a half-wit that SE is apparently proud to call a GM Smiley: oyvey

Like they say, the proof is in the pudding. ^_~

*twitches, tries to resist urge to petition Thunderan.*

I wonder if he talks like that because he knows people can't prove it without a third party program?

Although! It is ENTIRELY possible to hit prnt screen, exit the game, and paste it into MS paint. I used to do it before I was lazy. :x

Wow, just wow, that's some really screwed up stuff right there.

Power in the wrong hands...

OP you really should forward a link to this thread to SE. Post it on as many boards as you can, let people know about this...

A noble thought, but seeing as how that particular GM's name has come up soooo many times and is still there, it seems that SE is perfectly willing to let that jackinape be a representation of what they want their company image and relationship with customers to be Smiley: oyvey

Oh my god!

I'm assuming this is legitimate by looking at the way the log's features and the responses from other members' feelings on Thunderan. This is really awful, I can't believe a GM would treat someone like this. Granted, I don't think some of the things you said were totally in line either, but I probably would have been just as furious in this type of situation.

I hope all of this clears up for you. I'll definitely remember GM Thunderan in the future. Ugh.

Why didn't you just yes him to death, then place a GM call later? Makes more sense to me, and it got me out of my spat with that ***** Teelow.

Don't they log all chats going on between GM<->player though, thus eliminating the need for screenshots? Just give the time, date, and name of GM, and they can look up all the info they need to investigate this wrongdoing further....

Customer: Don't I get a recipt?

Store: oh we keep and electronic log of all transactions, there is no need

Customer: OK

**3 days later**

Customer: what do you mean I'm being arrested for shoplifting or have to pay 200 times the value of the item? I didn't steal I bought this!

COP: you got a reciept to prove that?

Customer: they have an electronic record!

Store: we don't have any record of you making any purchase or speaking to any of our clerks that day. We do have a record of you exiting the store with the item from our security camera.

Back on topic, this story in the OP just doesn't seem believabel, I've met some dumb GM's, but even I say that is beyond belief.

Another "so and so is a great GM" thread

I can link a dozen things off the top of my head that show how he is as bad as thundy..Telling an HNMLS they are sleep holding an NM immune to sleep, jailing someone for asking what was wrong etc.

It's not noble, I want him to go crying like a baby wherever he can to get attention.

I'd love to see the follow up conversation when the OP gets back to the game.

I'd love to see you tell them that you're going to post the conversation on a public board too. :D

The fated image is a Galka character standing in his mog house. Everything is edited out except a tell from Thundaran stating "this is my game and I make the rules. Say somethn I don't like and BAM! youre banned. lol"

That's an exact quote, spelling errors and all.
