POL 0260Follow

i am sick of doing homework since 8am.... it has been over 12h of homework now...

i want to play my F#CKING GAME!

Victoria BC here. I've tried setting up POL to go through numerous open proxies across Canada, the US, and Japan, and none of them work. Don't see how that could happen unless POL actually ignores your proxy settings, and they only put them there as a joke.

Or, they have banned known proxy servers, which makes sense, since that's where DDOS attacks would be coming from I'd expect ;) In that case, since POL behaves exactly the same for Shaw as it does for proxies, they have probably banned Shaw as well.

ya it is everyone's IP that starts with a 24.

I am also using Suscom cable. It's not just Shaw Cable, I did a search and Suscom has nothing to do with them. I've been trying to get on-line all day. I was actually planning to reinstall Final Fantasy, glad I came here and read this first.

Well, for me, my Global IP in that screen you mentioned starts with 64 as well, so...

Same here ... Shaw Cable (Pitt Meadows, BC - just east of Vancouver).

There's 3-4 of us in my LS on the Seraph Server from the lower mainland, and none of us can get on FFXI.

well i looked at the ip address...checking for that magic number 24 and i dont have it, so i'm thinking that's not what the problem is...

my ip address starts with 192, global IP with 202...so, guess that leaves me in the same position i was in this morning lol

I contacted shaw.ca and talked to a 24 hour rep via phone about this, he was unaware of this problem and promised to foreward news about this I guess I should have expected such a responce though.
