This is... not good. There are three of us in the house and we all play on multiple platforms. I have PC and PS2, one roommate has PC and PS2, and the other has 360 and PS2. We pre-ordered once copy for each platform. I am getting the PS2 codes, one roommate gets the PC codes, and the other gets the 360's. The problem is that my friend and I play almost entirely on the PC now. I am about 6 months behind on updates for the PS2. Either way, we may have to buy a 2nd PS2 copy just to play on release...
Man, this sucks.

Because all PC users are American? I have confirmation that my copy will be sitting there ready for me tomorrow. Of course I'm in Canada and our Thanksgiving was in October. I always get made fun of for that by my American friends, but maybe Canada just has more forsight ;)
I've yet to recieve a game on the date that was quoted to me upon pre-ordering at EB Games. It never seems to arrive on time.
They don't have a problem with half-asking, half-pleading with me to trade in games, though. >_>;
Well, since this seems to be something greater than a simple 'oops' from EB Games themselves and effects the PC release as a whole, I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt this time.

Well I just called Gamestop and they are trying to tell me that Wings of the Goddess ins't coming out for Xbox 360, and that I can only get the 2008 Collection that includes WoTG...when I clearly paid in full to reserve a copy of WoTG expansion...retards. So the expansion will be out for Xbox 360 on the 21st?

Oddly enough, I'm in Canada as well, and yet they stated that my copy won't be until Friday ...

Just called Gamestop. They told me that the dates in their computers were changed and it WILL ship tomorrow. He told me to call tomorrow and he'll be able to confirm exactly when it'll be available. :[
More than any nerf or lag issue or price gouging or crying that the last update caused, this breaks my heart the most.
However, I did just see this on the Gamestop site (after all the people claiming gamestop already got the shipment and they're basically just clueless)
And SE's shipping date on the official site still says Nov 20.... they're usually good about letting us know if things like that change. Why would they delay shipping on a finished product that's about to go live tomorrow? >_>

Yea, when i was in high school and played games a lot, i applied there numerous times. Because i actually liked talking about games and such. Did i ever get hired....noooooo

I just called my Gamestop back, the guy said they recieved a shipment earlier today, but he's not sure if WoTG is one of the boxes. He said there is 16 more boxes that they haven't gone through yet, so they either have them and didn't find them yet or they won't be shipped out till tomorrow, lol.
Talked to our local EB Games and they are getting it in for PC tomorrow.

The playonline site still says shipping 11/20/2007...... if that is the case then why the hell am I not getting my PC copy until after Thanksgiving?

I j called the Game Stop I reserved my PS2 copy for and they said they haven't gotten it today with their shipment so probably tomorrow

I've been holding off until I actually have my copy of WotG in hand before re-activating my FFXI account and playing again. One advantage of this is 'missing out' on all the chaos that occurs after a major patch ...
I just called the Gamestop where I preordered mine. They told me that it was still coming in tomorrow at around noon. I hope they're right and not misinformed.

Update: I just called Best Buy and they said they are expecting it today. It seems this might just be fueled by incorrect dates from incompetent websites. >_>; Looks like I'm getting my $5 back from Gamestop for reserving my copy if they don't get it!

Why not wait till next month and save yourself some cash, then? You're going to be billed a full month's fee for the remaining week+ of November. >.>

My EU PC version's been posted from Play.com today. Don't know the status of my other half's NA version he's having to import from Play Asia though.
My gamestop order changed to 'processing' today, and I have next day shipping, I wonder if it will actually go out today.
