The picture looks like a representation of rdm, whm, and blm singing into microphones (as you can tell by a black cord running from the background to underneath one of the tarus).

Since no-one's using Kokba Hostel, they're going to make it into a Karaoke bar.

Souleater. Decent anime as far as I can tell; The manga is really good. Smiley: schooled

You can't tell me that's NOT paladin artifact armor.

Baldev, the character on the right holding a Hammer, is a PC wearing PLD AFv1. Notice his name is in blue lettering. Armitte, the NPC on the left, is an Adventuring Fellow wearing Hachiman Domaru set. She has green lettering for her name. Also looking at this list here: http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/wiki/Adventuring_Fellow_Guide Armitte's name appears in the list of NPC names, whereas Baldev does not.

lolgaxe beat me to it but yeah its Soul from SoulEater. Pretty good Anime and Manga so far. Soul is a weapon (He transforms into a Scythe) and is paired with his technician Maka and the original goal is to devour the souls of 99 humans and 1 which to become a Death Scythe used by the Grim Reaper. There is a bunch of other stuff that goes along with it but that's the basics.

Holy freaking crap... are some of you people serious?

I can't believe how much ******** we have already about how much this update is going to suck and how bad the game is getting over three brief update descriptions released over a month away from the update.

For christ's sake people.

I think the bells are new weapons that allow you to attack from a greater distance. You gain tp and have less of a chance to get hit from AoE. If that's the case I think it's kinda cool. As long as the damage isn't super weak and the WS have some cool effects.

Just to point out how insanely stupid this idea is... you do know those bells are already in the freaking game right?

- Thrilling new episodes of nation quests for Wings of the Goddess.

= Interesting.. Mainly since I believe they will begin opening the Northlands Campaign and/or the endgame playground for WoTG with this update. It makes sense to me that they would require you to maintain a certain medal or complete the storyline before being able to access either of these areas once they exist.

- Large-scale expansion of the Moblin Maze Mongers and Fields of Valor systems.

= This may very well be the best part of the update since the potential of MMM and FoV is only limited by the imagination.

Not a SE Friday post or April 1st setup? Pal or Sam , Great hammer or whack a mole club, 3 bell carrying mages running from a club "whack a Taru" .March is going to be a fun month to read April update info, less SE info = more speculation fun.

They already said at the fan fest that when they release the northlands zones in the past there will be no requirements to be on a certain level of nation quests of minimum required medal rank.

The last few ranks, the 68 body pieces, and northlands (S) should all be coming in the same patch (http://www.onrpg.com/boards/113311.html#post1442430). Seeing as we haven't gotten any new ranks since June, either we're getting these in April, or it will officially have been over a year between the implementation of Wings and Medals in Campaign and SE will have failed miserably. Not ruling out the latter, but realistically, it should be the former.

And I think they said at least one avatar would be in this update, but that one I'm much less sure about. And that's something I definitely don't trust them to keep their word on, even if they did say it. In fact, it's probably best to just forget about it.

As for the bells, the only logical thing I can think of is "Holy crap guys, we're finally letting you store these after having them eat your inventory for four months." I'm more concerned about where those Tarus are, not what they're holding. That seems like the thing that holds the most significance to me.

Lastly, TOTALLY want that hammer. I will swing it with extreme prejudice.

Now that you mention it... the ground looks pretty white...

This could be SE's convoluted way of relating the dream bells to x-mas, x-mas to winter, winter to snow, snow to northlands...

That or as people have suggested their cloaks represent their mage jobs signifying some sort of update for blm/rdm/whm which would go with the update notes mention of "adjustments and addidtions"... but in that case why didn't they just put them in AF instead of the cloaks of all things?

@the PLD and hammer...

YES! WAR HAMMERS! In true form PLD's have either sword and shield or some form of war hammer. Probably why PLD had Great Axe skill when the game was launched (removed before NA release).

1/2 handed war hammers for PLD please SE!

SE isn't adding in a special type of hammer weapon for DD jobs, it's just going to be a new all jobs club. Most likely purchasable from MMM giving the picture and with crappy stats like all MMM purchasable items.

It'll give people something whacky to run around with and will probably squeak when you whack stuff but nothing else.

Garden of Ru'Hmet/Grand Palace of Hu'Xzoi/Temenos all have the same floor design. Looks like they just took the picture in one of those 3 zones.

That's why it interests me. They don't hit those locations for just any ol' update picture.

As for Job adjustments in general, we are looking to give jobs that are limited in their abilities more options and versatility. We think something like Samurai’s Hasso and Seigan, where play-style changes under the effect of one ability versus the other, would be a good route to take. That, and we are imagining ways that White Mages and other magic users can broaden their usage in a fight. This isn’t to say we want Jobs to break from their original design, but rather give them more options when faced with a variety of situations.

I told you! Blm is getting great sword!

This also will be the update where SE removes SMN from the game because they really just want Mellowy to STFU.

I actually thought to myself: Would I give up SMN just for Mellowy to STFU? The answer was nearly "Yes".

What you actually saw was SAM in the now equippable PLD armour, with their new off-hand Great Hammer, that they dual wield along side their GKT.
