Except english really isn't easier than most other languages.

Oh yes it is. You barely conjugate verbs (like what, 4-5 different tenses opposed to French's and Spanish's 10+ ones), words have no sex (again, opposed to French, Spanish and even German) just to show examples.
This thread is way far away from the OP's humor now, but this needs some correcting. English is indeed on of the
harder languages to learn. While your examples could be someone correct I suppose, you leave out the real challenges of learning to speak English. Such intricacies as multiple meanings for the same word, the order in which our adjectives describe our objects, and punctuation leave a much greater number of hurdles to creating a coherent sentence.
As far as the conjugating part, I really don't think you understand how (using Spanish/French as the basis of this) it actually makes it easier on the speaker/writer. By conjugating your objects as you use them, you actually save time, rather than having to clarify at some point what tense your object is in, and who it is reference to.
I'm sure someone who has taken a bit more foreign language than I could shed some more light on this, but this information stuck with me from my few years of Spanish, and our teacher directly confronting this issue.
