I've been waiting for someone else to offer, but so far, nothing. Smiley: frown

While I didn't lol until the 1.337 chimp was beating on a SE employee, I like it more for the fact that it further slander's SE's lolCustomerService publicly, and within a politically correct fashion, which is apparently what SE likes the best.

I kind of miss the crazy update notes for Friday things. These new things seem to cheapen the the satire that Friday update notes use to hold.

Loved this one, great work!

I was a detractor at first but I'll freely admit the storyboard and art has steadily improved since conception.

Keep it up :)

Could try my hand at one, but I'd rather the subject matter be light-hearted than a satirical slap at SE. I do that enough on my own with just text. :x

I thought this was more of a community thing.

I'm guessing you can submit an idea/panels to Pikko or the other guy.

The other guy? I work kinda hard to be called 'the other guy'. ; ;

If it makes you feel better, I thought your name had beast-something but wasn't sure.

I assure you it was the nicest thing I could have possibly said that wasn't actually in favor of SE.

Again, I don't want people to take this as some sort of lashing out at SE or FFXI. With all their flaws, they're still the company that raised me (Square and Enix both), and will probably be the company that raises my children. (As a good responsible parent, I'll skirt all my duties as a father and ensure my kids spend their free time playing video games and watching TV so I don't actually have to be a parent.)

I think like any good sport, SE would be able to take something like this in good ribbing fun, just as any of my friends would take and dole out a battery of insults, because that's what friends do.

LOL! I'd have to keep that one off my blog and stick it in the Asylum.

Oh, my. Depending on style and presentation, that bento could give an entirely new meaning to the term bento box...

Well, I've just been kind of miffed at the forum in general the past few weeks. Sure, SE makes mistakes, their customer service blows, and overreaction is their M.O.. This is nothing new. When I see people clamoring for the elimination of trial accounts, saying stupid **** like, "Call a GM before you do anything or you'll be banned!" as if it's gospel, or believing anyone and everyone banned was innocent (Not every RMTer is obvious, mind you), I can't help but scratch my head.

I'm not dense enough to believe that playing for as long as I have hasn't contributed to a level of ennui, either. I'd just rather not start hating (more of) the players on top of hating certain broken/annoying aspects of the game. I think there are funny aspects of XI we could tap into, but if you're just putting the idea you're given to art form, there's not a whole lot you can do other than play along. If all people want to see these days IS clever SE bashing, then I'd say we're in a sad state because we're not really celebrating FFXI anymore. That's what brought us here.

This reminds me of Jim Carrey in Ace Ventura 2 on the plane...

If you're referring to the upgraded version of RMT PWNER, I can't help you.

If you're referring to...

...then see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/To_Serve_Man.

If you're wondering about my Jim Carrey reference, it's a scene where Ace Ventura spoofs another bit o' pop culture from your parents' generation: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nightmare_at_20,000_Feet

My question is since when is Cloud SE's PR Man.

I'd think Sephiroth would be more intimidating.
