Oh good, I looked earlier and didn't see them yet. Thanks for posting this!

Edit:

Quote:
•[dev1018] A new exchange NPC for crests and seals named Shemo is now stationed in Port Jeuno (H-8).

So now there's 2 NPC's that do this right next to each other? I'm confused. Does Shami still accept them?

They had announced they were going to allow players to convert their seals and crests into other seals and crests. Shemo is most likely the NPC that you'll trade X number of the seals or crests to in order to get Y number of the desired seal or crest in return.

Interesting that Climactic Flourish will now work on weaponskills, but more than likely the first hit only.

Blargwatch, Ground of Blarger, Camblarg. I see we're back to obligatory SAM buffs as well. And that's a mighty fine looking globe.

Some interesting changes -- Huge buffs to Campaign/Besieged (we hope). Glad Abyssea has its own KI section now. The Windows/360 Only buffs continue,

I can't help but be curious about the moving around of NPCs in cities, and the Equipment vendor changes. Surely this is a way to make low-level equipment a bit more abundant?

Pup skillup enhancement attachment and kupowers working on dungeon caskets now. Tears. Of. Joy.

Now if they would hurry and make WOE not so asinine I'd have very little to make my blood pressure go up in game.

Very interesting indeed. May make me get on DNC for the first time in months to try it out.

This could be super beneficial to Rudra's Strom I see THF's do some nice damage with SA maybe DNC can immitate thi with CF.

(although if thats the case then man that could be a lot of DMG in a short period of time if you time your TP regen correct.)

Did you see the dev post about WOE?

And yeah, skill up attachment for PUP. Does that make up for the bert nerf? I think it does, but I am not a PUP.

I missed it personally, what was the gist? or a link if you have one please?

Debating wading back into that hot-mess to do another weapon or two. Would be nice if they actually plan some refinements in there.

They are going to zone lock WoE. So you can go in with up to 18 people. No more anons lotting coins, essentially... or people going on a job that scores well, spamming JAs and not helping with the clear and getting a chest.

I believe they are doing away with points/placing altogether, actually. I'll try to dig up the admin's post....

ah here:

• Change Walk of Echoes into an 18 person reserved battlefield
• With the move to a reserved battlefield, the time limitation will be changed from 45 minutes to 30 minutes
• Revamp rewards granted upon clearing the battlefield
• Abolishment of additional rewards to players who are evaluated highly
• Change so that the whole party receives the clear title instead of just the highest evaluated player
• Addition of higher tier Walks of Echoes

They will continue to be exploring the specific content from here on out, so please feel free to leave any feedback!

They are taking away 1-5 chests in WOE and making it is reserved battlefield. Since it's SE I'm guessing a soloer can successfully lock out an entire linkshell for an hour like dynamis once did.

Thanks for the info.

Hmmm, this could be a good thing or a bad thing. Guess we'll have to see if it gets the old school SE lackluster fix or the new era actually trying fix.

wonder if piercing or slashing will get the extra hour being taken away from blunt. i'd guess blunt from 22-6, piercing 6-14, slashing 14-22, but who knows.

The issue wherein the help message for the item Save the Queen mistakenly read "Cover +1" instead of "Cover +5."

Happy, but 6-7 years too late.

The issue wherein equipping the items Cadushi Grip, Oneiros Grip, or Ossa Grip reduced players' attack speed.

Was fun while it lasted.

I'm happy to see them change things around so much like this, and to fix old problems, but the basic problems still very much exist. Just to name something off the top of my head, Map Markers not being placable everywhere on larger maps. Good that they're going back to things 6-7 years old, but they're forgetting the things 7-8 years old that are still messed up and left alone.

Check version has been available for a short bit. I tried and failed as soon as it was available, after getting to 80%.

Just got in and went to try the new Seal Exchange NPC (Shemo). I expected it to be a lot more complicated. It's just a 3:1 trade of any seal for any other seal.

3 Beastmen Seal -> 1 High Kindred Crest
3 Kindred Crest -> 1 Kindred Seal
and so on.

So no 1 seal is worth more than another for the purposes of exchanging. Not too shabby.
