It isn't hard to understand why this happens though. You give some rate-ups to your friends and expect them to do the same for you later on. That is kind of expected on a forum that allows suers to rate one another. But do you really have to rate down EVERY SINGLE POST that wasn't made by one of your friends?
So I've been posting in the Out of Topic forum for a couple years now and I've seen all intelligent conversation virtually vanish. People post just to post. On most occasions I try not to reply to a post unless I have something semi-intelligent to say, but it seems like nearly all the OoT "regulars" force themselves to reply to every single thread.

You will just attempt to apply some semi sarcastic response in regards to not giving a damn, or try to come back with some pseudo intellectual garbage that makes entirely @#%^ all sense. I know you well enough, and getting in the last word is a major habit of mine.
