Someone up the thread was complaining about Zam.com not being active yet. So I looked at it (I hadn't really tried using it yet) and, at the bottom, is says:

Affinity Media, eh? A Google for Affinity Media results in
Affinity Media which looks like just a place-holder site. However, if you use the Google cache, you get to the real site.

says that it owns Allakhazam.com, PlayerAuctions, IGE, Thottbott, etc. It also states that the "Resources" and "eCommerce" divisions are independent and fully autonomous. So, not that I doubted, but the company line from Up On High is the same as from Alla.

About Us" section has a list of investment partners. I Googled them and they were uniformly unexciting investment companies that put money into start-ups and long term investments. Some American, some Asian from the looks of it. However, the Affinity Media

In short, Alla's isn't owned by the same guys who also happen to own IGE, it is effectively controlled by the guy who
created IGE with the financing of a bunch of boring investment companies and whatever money Brock & Co. put into the venture. I know much of this isn't really news but it's more than anyone here was copping to previously.
