Bad Experience last nightFollow

last night as i returned from a good day of farming, i ended up in Upper Jueno approached by a level 20whm/10rdm asking for money for a new staff (4500gil).... as i was feeling cheerful of a successful day of farming i had no problem donating 4500gil to help someone out... i proceeded to the chocobo stable to sell some misc. items to NPC when i come back out i over hear a /say convo between Exodius (the person i donated the gil to) and another... as soon as i hear this i send the person a /tell asking if exodius was asking him also for gil... and of course he was... fortunately he didnt give him any, i immediately /slap exodius and send a /tell asking him why he was mooching off everyone, he replied that he was very poor and wanted armor now. so i ask him where the staff is that i gave him money for... he shows me a windurstian staff, i check the history on the staff and it shows the last one was sold on august 31... this was just angering me even more, so i send him another /tell asking him why he lied. he then comes up with an excuse that he bought it from a friend, i do a /sea all "his friends name" comes up in La Thiene Plateau, i continue to question his intentions and his reasoning for lieing to me... eventually he gives up and gives me back my money, by that time it was no longer about the money, i did a /shout saying that she could not be trusted and not to donate money to her. immediately after doin the /shout i get barraged with /tells asking me what im talking about!!! it seems i wasnt the first person she has done this to... i was amazed.
i finalized the convo by telling her that she will be payed back in spades, i then logged out. please dont trust Exodius

as sad it does seem, this was my first bad experience donating money.. i would of had no problem with it if he had actually purchased what he was goin to, im sickened by it and i suppose you are right, i should no longer open myself up for this hassle /smile
